I half expected to see him go up to Russell later and say, “Hey, just kidding, man, I’m totally with you if you want to go further.”
So I’m wondering if Jerri changed her vote to Danielle before or after Danielle got diarrhea of the mouth?
Candice couldn’t reason her way out of a paper bag. Glad to see her treachery come back to haunt her. I just love that Rupert’s rock in his pants fooled King Russell and turned the tide. It’s also awesome that Sandra found the HII and is hiding it from everyone. She’s very smart. I like her much better this season than in past seasons.
Jerri is hanging onto Russell for all she’s worth. I have to say Russell played that
well because it was certainly in his best interest to break up the Parvati/Danielle thing, but now he risks the tide turning and Colby, Rupert and Sandra making it to the final 3.
Really dislike Danielle after her fight with Amanda last week where she acted all indignant after Amanda picked up the HII clue off the floor. I was glad to see her go. Was that a look of guilt on Russell’s face that he made her cry? I don’t think so.
I imagine he picked Danielle over Parvati because the latter has already won and he thinks that will work in his favor, but I think Parvati is more of a threat in challenges than Danielle and may bite him in the ass.
I can’t believe he thought he could get by with turning Parvati and Danielle on each other without them talking about it. He doesn’t know women very well.
Oh, and Colby is a big weenie head. He freaking gives up on an immunity challenge for food.
Colby checked out of the game a long time ago. Hell, the villains never even bothered to consider him enough of a threat to put his name down in EITHER tribal council. This is not the Colby of ten years ago.

Pretty satisfying episode overall. I was hoping Russell’s head would be on the block, but at least his alliance seems to be imploding. Really bad move to try to pit Parvati and Danielle against each other like that. Parvati is way to savvy to fall for that.
I’m glad Sandra found the idol, and that no one knows she has it. She has become the most interesting player now–can’t wait to see which way the wind blows her next week.
Next week is gonna be even better!

We know that Parv can only trust Sandra now. Since they all voted Rupert.
Jerri has no link to Parv, and Russell is making deals with heroes. Russell screwed up big time. He stirred shit at the wrong time. If he really wants to go up in the final three with 2 heroes, good game, he’ll get no votes. I can see why he’d want to break up the Danielle and Parv duo but damn he got caught in his lie and now has to weasel his way into some sort of Plan B. There is no chance in hell Russell will make it to the end as the ultimate winner. Either he’ll be voted out before final three for being a snake, or he’ll be taken to the final three and be labelled the piece of shit that he is.
What’s even more amusing from the previews is the hard ons Rupert and Colby have when they do the handshake from Russell. Seriously are you guys gonna keep believing this guy?
Candice made the stupidest move last week and she paid the price today. I’m glad that she’s gone. Danielle woulda never won a million because she has no clue how to defend her logic and strats. She’s like Amanda version fake boobs. She lost Jerri’s vote of confidence with the “I’m in with Parv more than you think you do” line.
I’m just waiting on when the heroes are going out. Colby checking out ages ago doesn’t deserve to win and Rupert is just plain annoying. Another good week and hopefully more to come! Sandra has HII too, with zero people knowing it. Awesome stuff.
Russell is just plowing his way through this game - even better than last season. He is, and it should be obvious to everyone by now, the biggest threat in the game. And yet he manages to get people to follow him every time.

This is the sad part. Russell’s game is about getting to the end to meet the jury. Doesn’t matter how hard he fucked them over, how much dick he forced down their throats. This is the reason why he’ll never win Survivor. He’ll plow through to the end and end up being the ass that dicked everyone and their grandmas over. No one will vote for him no matter how “awesome” is game is. People have emotions, they won’t logically vote for the best strategist, best liar, best whatever. People will think this guy fucked me over, now fuck him. The social game is Russell’s weakness and he’ll never see it as a weakness, because the social game isn’t supposed to be a quantified by the Survivor motto of Outlast, Outplay, Outwit.
Almost as ridiculous as last week when he ignored the hidden immunity idol clue in favor of an old movie. The only decent move we’ve seen him make was this week when he plotted just a bit with Rupert to outst Candice.
I think “outwit” is supposed to cover it, but yeah, Russell can’t win.
I agree also - but am I the only one who just noticed a couple of weeks ago they changed the logo this season to read “Return, Revenge, Redemption”?
It’s been that all season - I just double-checked episode 1.
I’m thinking this cast will be much more appreciative of a player who outplayed the rest of them. That means Russell and Parvati. They are the only “players” left.

You need to watch the extra Ponderosa clips on CBS website or youtube CBS’s channel. Ponderosa is the place where the jury stays. The jury talk to each other and seemingly Coach, Courtney and JT don’t hide their hate for Russell. The way they talk about Russell, I get the feeling “sour grapes” is there and highly unlikely they’ll give Russell a million dollars even if he’s the greatest player that ever lived.
Wow, did the Villians ever implode. Russell, it’s not much help when you realize how stupid it was to vote out Candice after you vote her out. If they hadn’t done that bonehead move both Rupert and Colby would have been gone. But the anti-Candice cattiness by the women and the ridiculous testosterone-fuled ego tantrum by Russell really screwed the pooch for them.
I’m hoping Parvati and Sandra team up and make it to the final. Loving both of them. Was loving Russell until he torpedoed his own game.
One thing I won’t miss is Danielle’s boob job. Her cleavage looks so weird and gross; uncanny valley territory.
Great episode. Love that Candice got her comeuppance for her absolutely retarded move last week. I’m starting to like Rupert more, he was definitely annoying early on, but Russell makes a great target for him. Russell’s existence energizes him. Ironically, I think Rupert’s only chance to win is making the final with Russell, otherwise Rupert will check out again.
Colby and Jerri are definitely completely checked out of the game. Colby seems like he’s trying to be the ultimate under-the-radar player (after nearly winning Season 2 by being the ultimate challenge dominator). Jerri just does whatever other people tell her.
After this week I’d give the best odds to winning to Sandra. The immunity idol she has is powerful, no one suspects she has it, and she won’t feel the need to play it before she needs to because she’s under the radar and no one’s gunning for her (like Russell’s “wasted” idol last week). Parvati obviously has been a strong player (even in challenges) and has a good chance if she can avoid the target on her back and make it to the jury. A Parv/Sandra/Russell jury would be quite close.
Sandra HAS to win now. No question about it. The funniest part about that is that she’s as big a snake as Russell, but less in-your-face about it. Russell will probably get the $250,000 but still be pissed off because he’s not “sole survivor”.
I think we should file a class action lawsuit against the editors for featuring Rupert’s repulsive feet in HiDef. I know I have suffered permanent psychological damage.
