This is where I really question the danger of it. I have also read that there has been no confirmed case…many times from different sources…and after 20 odd years and millions of BJ’s, don’t you think there would be just one? One? I know this is very controversial, BUT STILL FOLKS! C’mon! Just one! No? Well, then maybe there is something about HIV transmission that we still don’t understand. Because of the facts that I have read, I consider oral sex to be a safe alternative when it comes (punny) to HIV. Safe, not safer. BUT, herpes, warts, syph, the clap, etc…now those ARE PROVEN to be transmitted by oral sex. So use a condom. Fear (respect?) what is real.
As for the OP, completion counts, but spitting into a tissue is quick and easy. Heck, I bet most guys wouldn’t mind cleaning up sperm off their stomach after a good BJ.
Well, they sell flavoured gels and condoms. But the one reason why I think that this is a good idea is that it gives the girl (ok, guys too- didn’t mean to leave y’all out) the power to make a guy use a condom. It’s an easy trick to put a condom on with your mouth (never done it, but have had it done on me- looked simple). NO GUY is going to say no to someone who puts one on him while giving him head! “What? You going to make me wear that little thingy on my…oh god, that feels good…OK.” But watch out for the mint condoms- I hear they burn sensitive female, er, parts, if you get my drift.

Ah, there’s something oft forgotten - those other nasty STD’s. (And you forgot one of the worst - Hepatitis in all its wonderful strains.) In fact, when I went for my annual HIV test (came back negative, of course), they specifically talked about other STD’s, and they are even starting to offer free screening for some of them (my understanding is that Hep. C is on the rise).
You’re correct- I did forget the baddie. Hep C is quite possibly more dangerous than AIDS I gather. Easier to transmit and more deadly.
As for the risky part- I know that the experts still say it is, but I think they are over-reacting. Remember- not one. Same thing with - oh, and now I get flamed - lesbians practicing safe sex. I think I read about one case of tranference with lesbians- and they had lived together and had many opportunities to exchange bodily fluids in other fashions. But still, I know about 3 girls who practice sterile sex with LTR partners (so that would make it 6)(condoms on toys, rubber gloves, dental dams, the works.)…seems quite silly to me, but oh well. I guess part of sex IS feeling comfortable, and if that makes you feel better, than who am I to knock it?
