Long Time First Time has been interviewed for an article which may soon appear in Oprah Winfrey’s magazine O. I’m not sure in which month the relevant issue will be published, but rumor has it that Oprah’s picture will be on the cover.

No woman could possibly appear on that many magazine covers. It’s Photoshopped.
Angua and Bonzer met at a Dopefest.
BlakeTyner went to school and was in the same class as my wife as I found out in this thread. He is also very knowledgable in the subject of trains.

Nu-hu… she’s from one of those places that are more Southern than thou (I’m not sure which one right now and fear she may dissect me if I pick the wrong one) and lives in Colorado. But the lab where she was working last has disintegrated due to the head of the lab heading up north.

The name pulykamell is Hungarian. Rumor has it it means chicken breast.
[/QUOTE]
Rumor is close, but not quite. “Pulyka” = “turkey.” “Mell” = “breast.” Ergo, “turkey breast.” I don’t actually like turkey very much (except on Thanksgiving), and I’m a dark meat kinda guy, so go figure. There is no significance to the name other than, when I lived in Hungary, pulykamell in infinite variations was curiously a staple on many Hungarian menus.

Wow. That makes a lot more sense than our “pukey camel” vs. “pulling camel” speculation at the ChiDopeFest… ![]()
I also have very few distinctions, Board wise. Dang it.
Fenris is wicked good at comic books stuff, and is one of the few folks I’ve crossed paths with who have read as much Heinlein crap as I have.
Snoooopy gives good deadpan funny, and didn’t like Zenster very much.
psycat90 is quiet, and attractive, and drove a REALLY long way for a horrible dopefest.

One of these days, I’ll make it out to one of those. In case anyone else is wondering, the name is pronounced “POOY-kaw-mell” (No “L” sound in there). Although I suspect everyone has their own pronunciation ingrained by now.
