hehe. I heard that after Buddy died, his agent answered a call from someone wanting to book him. The agent explained that Buddy had passed away. The same guy called back, and the agent again explained that Buddy was gone. When he called a third time, the agent asked if he hadn’t already called twice. His reply, “Yep. I just enjoy hearing the news”.
Apparently Buddy didn’t have many friends. 
Twickster went to UC Santa Barbara the same time I did, but I never met her. She also likes musicals.

It was also reported that when Buddy was admitted to the hospital for what turned out to be his final stay, he was asked if he had any allergies. The acerbic reply: “Yeah. Country music.”

Speaking of, does anyone know the former poster Gundy? She’s the only poster I ever met (well, minus my girlfriend whom I introduced to this board), when I coincidentally ended up in the cubicle next to her in a temp job I held a few years back. What happened to her?

I met her a couple of times at ChiDopes. She was very cute in person, even if she didn’t photograph well. I know a fact about her: she and I are both of Norwegian - Mexican descent. She looks more Mexican, I look more Norse.

She’s awesome and married and has another kiddo now. And it’s her birthday tomorrow.

Hmmm. Well two out of three ain’t bad. 
I’m quite positive I have never been to a horrible dopefest. And I don’t usually drive to them. Either I fly or my husband drives, and I don’t recall ever going to one without him.
