Terrell Owens: A greedy, self-centered shitstain

I bet we miss football too!

Gee, Weirddave, you seem to have a new admirer!

The only thing dead on here is your brain, and it’s dead on arrival.

You have absolutely no way to do anything except talk out of your ass WRT a players ability or performance several months before mini-camps even start. Face it, you’ve just shot any credibility you might possibly have had in the ass, and in grandiose fashon too. Bravo!

Frankly, I’m surprised that Andy Reid would even consider bringing in a locker room cancer like TO. Maybe the owner is beginning to get impatient?

So the fact that you can’t read says something about my intelligence? I didn’t say Boller is always going to suck. I said he sucks now. Your difficulties with the English language are regrettable, but they aren’t my problem.

Anyway. I’ll tell you what, Lombardi. How about you let The Patron Saint of Quarterbacks speak for himself? When he ends up being benched midseason I will reopen this thread to invite you to kiss my ass.

Bolding mine.

You said Boller “definitely can’t”, which implies that he never will be able to. Rattay merely hasn’t, implying that he has the ability, just hasn’t done so yet. If you meant that Boller will eventually be able too, you should have said “hasn’t” about him, too.

So, apparently, you’re the asshat without the ability to use the English language.

As a Niners fan, let me be the first to say to Ravens (or) Eagles fans: “He’s alllllllllll yours.”

(Bolding mine).
Tim Rattay hasn’t thrown an accurate pass more than four yards? That’s a strange thing to say, since his career passing average is more than 4 yards per attempt.

But just for laughs let’s look at last year:

In Minnesota he came into the game in the 3rd quarter and threw for 146 yards, including a 37 yard TD pass. His Passing Average was 8.11 yards.

He started and played the entire game against St. Louis and passed for 246 yards, including 3 TDs, one for 27 yards. His Passing Average was 8.14 yards.

The following week he started and played the entire game against Pittsburgh, passing for 254 yards, including 2 TDs, one for 61 yards and the other for 28 yards. His Passing Average was 9.41 yards.

The following week he started and played the entire game against Green Bay, passing for 142 yards, including a 24 yard TD. His Passing Average in that game, his worst as a starter, was still 4.73 yards.

I’m no statistician, but I’d say based on the evidence he has thrown an accurate pass more than four yards. Or am I a dipshit too?

Sorry, fuckface, but I am going by what you said. Somehow it dosen’t strike me as suprising that you’re too much of a brainless moron to realize that what you say here stays available for everyone else to read, and dosen’t change just because different voices in your head start speaking. Wmulax93 has already pointed out exactly what you did say, and I will reiterate that you have absolutely no basis for making such a statement, ergo, you are talking out of your ass.

Go right ahead, at that point you will have something to base your statements on rather than what you have now which is nothing. Facts are what we value here at the SDMB, not the brain dead hallucinations of a cunt lipped dingo fucker.

Well, there’s something about getting owned in the NFC championship game for a few years that’ll drive sane men to do insane things. You have to admit, the Eagles are a complete package, but they DO lack a solid receiving corps. Maybe they’re hoping that T.O. was just a moron in San Francisco, and a change of scenery will make him play nice.

I personally think Keyshawn’s a cheaper, just-as-effective choice, but what the hey.

PS: Wow, nothing like off-season football threads to bring out the civility in mankind, eh? Cool it down, kids.

So, TO and his agent screwed up and he missed the deadline to void his contract and become a free agent and now he wants a second crack at it by voiding the trade and become a free agent anyway.

I would say no fucking way. The 49ers owned his contract and they could do what they wanted with it. I would have done the same thing to get as much value out of this punkass as I could.

Apparently, despite being an athlete, he has not learned how to play by the rules and I hope this is going to bite him in the ass.

Huh?

When did Owens renege on the Eagles?

I don’t really understand this bit. Th 49ers have Joe Montana and he’s quite a good passer.

Of course, it’s been a few months since I’ve paid any attention to football. He might not be that good anymore.

You know, I’ve thought things over and I think (as a niner fan) I know what we should do with TO.

Keep him. Don’t allow him to void his contract. Don’t trade him. Don’t play him.

People like him are bad for other athletes, bad for the team, and bad for the sport.

Possibly. Do you know how they count passing yards?

I’d suggest giving him the Alexei Yashin treatment.

Man, is it football season yet?

A prediction:

He’ll get his and play for whoever the hell he wants. Second or third game of the season he gets Theismanned.

This is a fun idea. Only problem is they’d still have to pay him. I’m not the biggest 49ers fan, but even I would hate to see them carry that much dead money for a player who could still contribute but is throwing a temper tantrum. That’s all this really amounts to, isn’t it?

“But I don’t want to play for Baltimore! I want to play for Philadelphia! Wahhhh!”

Snooooopy: It was reported on the news here that Owens had discussed terms with the Eagles first, then made a quick deal with the Ravens without telling anyone. It may not be correct- seeing some of the reactions in this thread now make me think it wasn’t- but that’s what I was referring to.

Just in: Duce Staley signs with the Steelers. I’ll provide a link as soon as I find one.

I’d call this a great display of karmic justice…let Coach Ego try to deal with this little bitch for one season, especially with Crackhead trying not to pick up the soap for 5-10 and Knife-thug and his ever-diminishing, but ever-hyped skills…you can’t right payback any better than that.

A greedy, self-centered shitstain?

Of course…but explain to me how that description is any different from what Owens was before this agent-driven fiasco?

Awww, isn’t this cute? Weirddave is foaming at the mouth at something other than the Steelers or a Steelers’ fan. Our little buddy has found another object for his affection.
What a moment. :sniff:

:wipes tear:

And I told myself I wouldn’t cry.

And back on topic, While TO playing in the AFC North would make our secondary look worse than usual (go ahead and take your cheap shots here, I’m in line with you handing them out), I am nearly soiling my pants imagining the biggest jerk in football, wearing the piss-ugly bruise purple uniforms of the Raisins, in a little cross route over the middle and Joey Porter taking him out of his cleats.
And while it wouldn’t be as gratifying for me, if he somehow does wind up not playing for Baltimore, that first game where he has to play AGAINST Baltimore will be one for the archives. As much as I think Ray Lewis is a thug and a criminal, he is one person I would not want after me on a football field.
