don’t worry they are. Very nice dinner. Zenster made a wonderfull chevre and shitake appetizer. Great turkey, and good wine.

Mmm indeed. Glad to hear it. Now if I knew WTF a shitake and chevre appetizer was I could sleep tonight. 
Well ok I know what a shitake is. Guess that’ll have to do.
Once again, Sue and her studly husband have hosted the killer party. First the Van Gough Martini, then the Maker’s Mark, then my contribution of the Sapporo Winter Brew. Yes, I’m having fun (how could you tell?).
Brought along the marinated shitake mushrooms with French goat cheese. Made the gravy, brought the triple sausage red wine sourdough stuffing and carved the turkey. I don’t know how Sue ever put up with me!
Nonetheless, Sue’s little girl has been rampaging like there’s no tomorrow. Regardless, her big blue eyes have gotten her off the hook as usual.
Sue’s new nose has survived the slings and arrows of outrageous lunacy. Her kitchen is to die for, I can actually swing a cat in here (before I whip it into the pot).
Anyway, gotta go, Oldscratch has naughty photos to post.

Thank goodness she knew well enough to let a kitchen Nazi like me wade into the fray. Snooooopy wondered what would have happened if I had been stuck behind a glass partition between the seating section and the kitchen.

There would have been these horrible scratch marks in the glass. At least that’s what I told them.
