I hate me-too posts but at the moment I think we need to hear a few good things, so I keep making them.

It has been a MAJOR COMFORT to have these boards here - to share people’s stories and find some comfort and support from being with others. So thanks to those of you who have made it possible, cleaned up the messes some of the wayward kids, and some of the distressed and stressed regulars have made, and kept things together.

We do appreciate it guys.
And thanks and a late-ish welcome to you Jane D’oh - a lass with the best screen name I’ve seen in a long time.

thanks from me too. here’s where i heard of it first. i was shocked. i’m still shocked. but the SDMB has been an anchor. thanks to all the mods who have been just great… and thanks to fellow dopers who have respected, for the most part, the rules of the board in such emotional times.
