I didn’t start that thread , to be honest I didnt even read the whole thing , I just threw in a little post which I thought was largely ignored. But all of a sudden I now OWN the thing.
Now I know i’m a popular , goodlooking funny , witty guy and all but for you guys to constantly surrender ownership of your very own threads that you’ve sweated and laboured over, just because of my little two line drive by postings which to me dont make all that much of a contribution…well it…it… touches me and I wanted to let you all know that I really do appreciate it.
Dammit I suspect I probably even own the Doptoberfest thread now and I’m not even going to be there … really you guys are too too much.
I’ll get around to thanking all you little people at some stage but for now know that Damhna loves you all.
Awww, I was gonna wait for this thread to fall off the first page, post, and say that the REAL ego rush is to simultaneously save a thread AND replace the OPer’s name with your own in the top “Last post” listing at the same time!
But then saepiroth posted and ruined everything.
Now I’m settling for just knocking saepiroth’s name of the “Last post” listing for this thread.
