I moved the Blue gularis killies into a ten gallon tank with a spawning mop. I caught them while they were going at it, and they started up again when they got out of the net in the new tank. I hope some fry will hatch in the old empty tank without being eaten. I stand a better chance picking eggs off of the mop.
I thought about showin’ up all unannounced-like for some nummy beast stew for din-din, but then flytrap said sumpin’ 'bout a fish fry. Hmmm, decisions, decisions.

Last load is in the dryer. **FCD **is napping. I’m heating up the leftover fish-n-chips from last night.

Beast stew is all done. I sampled and ‘tis nummy! Some will be for dindin as wanted. I’m still full from N.O.L. The rest of it will be portioned and go in da freezer for later meals except for some bein’ held out for N.O.L. tomorrow.

I am making a big pot of split pea soup, with lots of onion, celery, and carrot. Instead of a hamhock or hambone I have the tail end of a ham from work. I have chopped it up and tossed it in the pot.
Doesn’t get better on a cold day than having a big pot of soup.
I feel like goin’ to bed but it’s waaaaaaaaaaaay too early.
flytrap I have no truck with such cruelty to bacon. 
I’m baaa-aaack! Got in last night and it was low thirties with rain and icy rain. Neato! The drive home was a bitch, but we made it. We had a great time and are busy plotting ways to have vacation more often than every 10 years.
I hope your knee gets to feeling better soon. Take it easy tomorrow.
In all seriousness, restrict fluids before bed. Start with 2 hours before bed time, and if that doesn’t work, then back it up even more. Where do I learn this stuff? Potty-training my kiddos wasn’t that long ago.

Well, spent 8 hours at the High School gym with soccer players from 4 to 12 years old. Amazing to see how fast they grow, especially from 9 to 12. Coached, trained and refereed while also helping with the administration stuff (hey, multitasking is fun) and it kept me out of trouble for Sattiday. Rewarded myself with a couple of ham-n-cheeser sammichs and the local family restaurant tonight.
Knee held up just fine. Rest of me may be sore come tomorrow. And the pilot light for the water heater is still on. So all-in-all a good day.
