today was a mix of annoyance and surprise ……but boring over all …….
Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffeinatin’. YAWN ‘Tis 59 Amurrkin out and cloudy (dark actually), with a predicted high of 70 and rain off and on accordin’ to TWPTB. Today I shall meet up with the ice machine tech, or wage war. I suppose that could go either way. Also I must needs lay in provisions. Sup shall be boxed lasagna (don’t judge!), sallit, and cheesey garlic bread. Also I get to haul the biiiiiiiiiiiiig trash cans at the church house all the way down to the road for pickup tomorrow.
Gigity! ::tacklehug:: Hard to believe your young’uns are in college! Come back and play some more.
Now I need more caffeine and rumbly tummy demands sustenance. Then, bother of bothers, I shall purtify and don appropriate goin’ about the public attire. Life is hard!
Happy Hump Day Y’all!
Just for a frame of reference, my bill went from just over $230 down to $118 with all taxes and fees included. But you have to call before they charge you the next subscription fee - once they suck the money off your credit card, you’re out of luck.
Good morning! Not too much crap appeared on my desk overnight, which is a good sign. Maybe I’ll clear a few more tasks today. We shall see.
Happy Wednesday!!
I am a little concerned for my health. I’ve had a few incidents of dizziness and migraine auras lately, and their increasing frequency is starting to worry me.
Happy Hump Day!
Good to see you again {{{2gig}}}
It’s cold outside, but the sun is shining and it’s supposed to warm up to 43.
I got Ripple off to day care. I hope he has a good time.
I got my computer back working last night, it seems it was a chrome problem, not a new computer problem.
Now I have to schedule a dishwasher repair.
I didn’t pay the bills yesterday, so I need to do that today.
Lots to do, none of which I want to do.
missred, herding cats would be easier, I believe.
In an after school program for kindergarten kids, they were doing a workbook. Not terribly difficult, but just try to get 22 kids to pay attention to you!!
It’s pretty insane, actually. I just met up with another English teacher, and she said my classes were crazy.
Morning all. Need to do some banking and then lay in provisions for March, and finish with some more soccer uniform distribution.
TB, ever see the movie Kindergarten Cop?:eek:

Bat Boy, glad to see you back, and have you see a Doctor about the migrane and aura increase? Sending good thoughts your way.
FCM, need to see when my contract runs out and try to get a better deal. Thanks for leading the way.
Sunny, you did a good thing. A PITA thing, I grant you, but a good thing.
55F outside and the weather folks say we’ll get to 70F today. We’ll see.
Awake for a bit and still trying to decide what I want to do today; be productive or waste time. Then latter is in the lead.
We ended up not doing the chicken dogs yesterday; I had an avocado that went from rock-hard to almost-mush overnight, so we did tacos to use that up. We’ll do the chicken dogs on Thursday. (Romeo is off today, so he’s on dinner duty.) Red, I’m thinking honey mustard on the chicken dogs. The kids like honey mustard… but maybe we’ll do ketchup, too. I’m going to make mine a buffalo chicken dog. Coat that bad boy in some buffalo sauce, add some lettuce and bleu cheese… nomnomnom.
BLURFAGE Irking. We are closing the shop at 1PM so we can all go for mandatory training. I don’t even know the topic. So, surprise mandatory training.
Up, caffeinated, and sheveled. Drizzling out. I need to go to the laundromat today. And Tar-Zhay, since my microwave decided to die in dramatic fashion last night.:smack: And I just had to get irked at my pharmacy manager ,since he didn’t scheduled the other pharmacist for training, and waited till 3 days before to drop it into my lap.
It’s not a tooma.
Bat Boy, I’d see your doc if things are getting worse. But welcome back.
Also, there is literally a hole in the wall pub in England. Wonder if Boofae has gone?
Howdy Y’all! I have taken care of all the out in public stuff for the day and am now in da cave with no plan to leave again. YAY! The ice machine is fine btw. Spidey it does have a cut off switch but it is way high up in the machine, thus the thing about it fillin’ up so much. The problem is, it’s way too big of an ice machine for our needs. It’s a little less of a problem in the Spring and Summer as folks do come and get ice then. So the tech guy told us the machine is in great condition and it won’t hurt it if we continue to turn it on and off. Thus, right now it is off. I shall go back on Sattidy and turn it on and by Sattidy night it will be full. Heck, probably by the afternoon. Then again, we could always send everybody home with a five pound bag of ice on Sundays.
I can truly say I know way more about an ice machine than I ever wanted to know.
BatBoy ::tacklehug:: but gentle cause of the migraines and dizziness. Glad to see ya. As others have said, hie thee to the doc.
Juliet I have had chikin dawgs. I have also had peanut butter 'n nanner dawgs. I’ve also had steak dawgs and ham dawgs. Hotdawg buns be versatile!
Commission a poll, then vote on it, then do einey-meany-miney-moe to choose one. The pundit in me says iffn you do all that, “waste time” will win. ![]()
Mistook the microwave for the cutlery drawer, didja? :smack:
Swampy, not sure if you mean turning off the ice production or turning off the whole machine. If the latter, ice melts & then refreezes whence you turn it back on, making many small ice cubes into one large one. :smack:
Make sure to empty the hopper if truly turning it off. Ours has a(n auto) swing arm, swing that up (or have the ice get high enough that it does it) & it won’t produce anymore ice until some is removed/that bar is lowered.
I’m waiting with baited breath for an email; so that’s why everything tastes fishy. :smack: ![]()
Howdy all. The Monthly re-stockage is complete (I did forget the pickles) and only needed to go to one store, so Wednesday morning shopping is a good time. Budgeted $150 for this and my total was $150.32, so pretty good math on my part. Everything is put away and lunch has been consumed, so chillage until 4pm or so when I need to get ready for uniform distribution again.
swampy, glad to know the sum total of your knowledge about things has been increased. And the bags probably would cost you more than the ice, not to mention stuffing said bags…
ruble, wasting time is always on my agenda.
Akiko-pup is bored and wishes everyone to know it. Rain and mud make her antsy. Well, she’d be happy to play in it, but they close the dog park AND she makes a real mess.
I am hungry. Also I have to drop off move paperirk. Sigh.
We have supped and 'twas good. Chillage ensues. I feel like I could go to sleep right now but I won’t cause if I did I’d wake up in a couple hours and be wide awake all night long. Such a hard life I lead!
I may see a Doc, but the weird thing is I don’t get migraines. I have been getting the same symptoms, like sensitivity to light and the aura, which is an all new experience as they only began a few months ago, but not the pain. I’m not sure what a Doc could do with that. Oh well, I guess all I can do is go and ask.
Mooooom, I paid up when Sirius sent me an offer of $12 for my first year. Once that is up, we’ll negotiate.
Kinda reminds me of cable TV days.
I’ll echo the get your bohunkus to the doctor senitment bat boy. I hope you get it figured out soon.
doggio, you may have to relive your pre-microwave childhood until you get a new one. I sould recommend a Westbend model with da Jungle delivering it to your door. I went through two micros from Wally World in two years before I wised up.
sunny, I feel your pain. We had two weeks of rain and Nelson got very antsy.
We called in reinforcements from our weekend shift to get all of our cycle counting done this month. Tomorrow should be bizzy bizzy.
It’s studio time.
Laundered, went to the Booster Club meeting. Our guest speaker was the “mascot cooridinator” for Stormy.
Apparently filling a Mylar balloon with propane and setting the microwave to “popcorn” is not recommended.![]()
I couldn’t live a stone age life that long, so I found one at the 3rd Target I went to. And I wouldn’t buy durable good from Wally World. I would buy a Coke, pour an airplane bottle of Jack ,and watch the Walmartians.![]()
Any recent additions to diet? I discovered 5 Hour Energy gives me auras without the headache, a real bitch while you are trying to drive…
