The Big Bang Theory, Season 10, Episode 24 (May 11, 2017) -- "The Long Distance Dissonance "

Lost weight? As if she needed to…if anything I think she filled out a bit, colored her hair right??

To another poster: A nice looking couple? :smack::smack::dubious:
You must NOT be a long time BB watcher.

" You had one job" Perfect! Another second or two pause would have helped that…but it was perfect anyway!

I’m not a mushy female but I loved this episode, the proposal at the end was a surprise I did not see coming

Oh and yes she will say yes! no doubt about it…but then, will she over analyze it and the “other woman” situation. I prefer that quandary instantly disappear and no, to another poster here, she does not need to be with Raj. Get her off the show! Toot sweet!

I literally reacted the way a typical female would at the door opening with Sheldon on his knee. (Cant describe it since I’ve never done it before)

As I watched Sheldon head all the way to Princeton in New Jersey I thought, “Look, he can travel alone and without his bus pants!” But then I remembered there was no need to be surprised considering he went on a walkabout during his professional crisis and actually knows how to drive.

Also can’t wait to hear his thought process on being kissed by another woman. A call back to the episode before last when Amy was leaving and he told her to contact him immediately if she met a tall, intelligent man like him. I don’t remember the wording exactly.

We know that. The question is whether he had it in his pocket all this time, or did he take a detour to the apartment to pick it up. The episode implied that he took the cab directly to the airport without any side trips. (For one thing, he showed up in Princeton without any luggage at all, and if he was going to stop at home, surely he’d pack a bag.)

I wonder if Ramona is still waiting for him, lips puckered.

ETA: And if Amy says “no”, will he fly back to CalTech and continue his make out session.

It was okay. Not a favorite of mine, but I stipulate that my opinion of the quality of BBT episodes is greatly informed by my intense antipathy towards Sheldon Cooper.

Leonard carried Penny’s engagement ring in his wallet. I could see Sheldon doing the same.

Some people above implied this was the finale but there’s at least one more episode isn’t there?

What about the box, though? And doesn’t an engagement ring create a big lump in the wallet?

Nope.

It was an ok episode but it at least moved the story along. Funniest bit was when they were all walking down the stairs and cutting off what’s her nuts and at the bottom Sheldon cuts them all off, totally oblivious, and says it was fun because it was like playing Mario Cart.

But he presented it to Amy in a standard jewelry box. Where did he keep it during the entire trip to New Jersey? Was he wearing cargo pants?

The only safe place. Up his butt.

Best not to analyze things too closely, otherwise it brings up questions like how Sheldon got a one-way ticket to New Jersey instantly, flew with no luggage, found Amy’s address at the school, dealt with a myriad security issues along the way, etc. Just chalk it up to Rule of Cool and roll with it.

It did bug me that everybody acted like they’d never seen Ramona before. They are all well aware of how controlling and crazy she is.

It’s a season finale. There will be a lot more episodes.

And neither one looks like an Olympic swimmer.

Surely he’d know her address (and it is possible to buy a ticket with an unspecified return date)

Well, we didn’t see her in the swimsuit that emphasized her bosom. She may have muscles we can’t see.

There’s a movie called Hell Baby where you can see all of her muscles if you’re really interested.

I liked Bernadette’s reaction when Penny said that living with Amy may have awakened Sheldon’s sex drive. I think it was spot-on to how many fans feel, to judge by the audience’s reaction.

Then let’s toss in the fact that it would take a good 14 hours to get from Pasadena to Princeton on a good day with lots of pre-planning. Is traffic that bad outside Philly at midnight?
