I scrambled up a big mess of eggbeaters, diced peppers and onions, some spinach leaves, and a bit of shredded cheddar this weekend. I divvied it up into containers, and that’s going to be my breakfast all this week.
Yum.

Yum.
1/4 cup of low-fat cottage cheese with 3 fresh strawberries diced into it. Two glasses of water and a vitamin.
I’m on a diet.
Cuppa coffee (no cream, fake sugar) when I got to work, too.
Later I can have an unadorned, no bun, no cheese hamburger patty! Joy!
Coffee (black)
Marlboro (light)
Banana (yellow)
The banana is a new thing I’ve been trying. I’m just not hungry in the mornings, but the gf says I’ve got to eat something, so I do.
One chocolate fudge Pop-Tart and half a glass of 1% milk.
Same thing I’ve eaten for breakfast for about the last three years.
(The upper half of my digestive tract does not open for business until about 10 am).
I like breakfast burritos. For a little variety, try it next time with flour instead of masa harina torillas.
Homebrew, we usually use flour tortillas, but I decided to try to make some instead. I might have tried flour mix, but I already had a pack of flour tortillas in my hand.
Keep in mind that these tortillas were made by a white guy; they were ugly and turned out pretty thick. I may try to find some real homemade tortillas one of these times just to see how far off mine were from the ideal, but mine were actually tasty, nothing like the blotter pads that pass for corn tortillas in the store.
I tried it once… burned out the toaster.
Mountain Dew and a banana nut muffin.
(Obviously training for the olympics.)
This morning I had cold leftover Tombstone pepperoni pizza, with anchovies, and a cuppa joe.
Started off with coffee, fresh pineapple with cottage cheese, fresh grapefruit/OJ and then chilaquiles montados (topped with a fried egg) with beans and some chopped serrano chile on top.
Back again:
Toasted poppy bagel with cream cheese, smoked Alaska sockeye salmon, crumbled bacon, tomato, and a bit of dill. Pure freakin’ heaven.
