Working as a Team achieved! I sent a couple 346 relics to Yeti and Kalathan; hopefully that’s not something Kal has already upgraded. Bird, let me know here or in-game if you need a relic for Moobird’s tank set.
I was going to wait on finishing the achievement until just before our guild run on Monday, but realized that Monday is in fact Valentine’s Day; I do not think I will have the evening to run heroics.
Missed you this morning. Grats to us all for the acheivement. Tom, you bet! I’ve been using a green in my relic slot. (actually more than a few greens) I missed a lot of the zones while power-leveling to 85. Just finished Uldum this morning, but none of the rewards there were any good. And I agree about monday night.
So would you prefer a Silver Inlaid Leaf (Agil/Stam/crit/haste) or a Notched Jawbone (Str/Stam/hit/mastery)?
Anyone else in the guild who needs a relic or off-hand spell thingy, please speak up.
Bear tanks will want the Silver Inlaid Leaf (reforging the haste to dodge, ideally), while Paly/DK/Warriors will want the Notched Jawbone, so it depends on if Bird plans on tanking with Moobird or Lightbird. I’ll happily take a leaf for Panzera, my druid tank, if you wouldn’t mind. 
Do you have anything for casters? I’m using Book of Dark Prophecies.

I know a lot of folks will be busy tonight with V-day, but I’ll still be on between 8:30 and 9:00 if anyone wants to queue for a heroic. I just need one more heroic boss to get a JP upgrade. Had a good H-ToT run yesterday and got new shoulders out of it.
Looks like JayRx1981’s Panzera may be helping out when available, but still, 2 is better than one! I was supposed to try out a few regulars this weekend with Moobi, but I ended up working on RB’s Rhamakan rep and got exalted! Lookit! a camel! woot! 
With Tom Scud’s relic, I’m now able to queue for heroics, but I’m still wearing way too much green to try. (wowarmory tells you what ilevel you are wearing as opposed to ilevel potential - seems like that should make it into the game somewhere. Especially with hybrid characters)
I finished up my Tharazane rep this weekend and started on Rhamaken, but realized I only had access to one of the dailies because I never did most of the Indiana Jones questline. So I have to grind through all those quests (and I don’t think they give rep) to get the bombing daily. Might as well do it though, I guess. Definitely need to set up my Ret spec if I’m going to be questing again, though.

I’m gonna be iffy tonight even though we pretty much did our V-day stuff last night unless my wife needs to work on her computer and our little guy has already put himself to bed.
Where does the Therazane rep start at, btw? Haven’t come across it yet. Does it start from an Earthen Ring quest in Deepholm?
It does start in Deepholm. I can’t look up the specifics, but you get the initial quest from one of the big rock giants. Once you finish all the Deepholm quests there are a bunch of dailies and the tabard to get you the rest of the way.
Sorry for having to bail last night, some things can’t be helped. I would’ve liked to have gotten the guild achievement for that heroic

Moobird tanked his first regular PuG (+Kene). Lots of wipes. Like 4. Tidy Plates is nice in that it shows you who is getting aggro, but I’m having trouble targeting them before they start running. Those plates are flip flopping/bouncing around too much.
Plus I’m not hit capped (still wearing a lot of greens though, so hopefully that’ll take care of itself as I gear up.)
You probably won’t be hit capped; as a tank you just have to deal with it. (Muz is still at about +4.5% hit, and he’s almost as geared as a non-raider can get.)

Unfortunately, no. We tried to see if Yeti could fill in but he was afk at the time. No big deal though, and the replacement we got (a DK) was putting out a ton of DPS.
I thought you did fine. The run was made harder by the fact that two of the dps were not putting out particularly stellar damage (I think the hunter was under 4k - and he was using a bear for some unfathomable reason. Isn’t that a tanking pet?). Aggro bounced a bit but once I remembered I could fade I was okay. I haven’t been healing on Kene much lately so it took me a while to get back in the swing. I need to adjust all my macros to use mouseover, like I have on my other two healers - it makes it so much easier.

Don’t worry about hit, you want to be as close to the expertise cap as you can which is 26. When I was tanking on Kah I had a whopping 3% hit, but around 20 expertise so threat wasn’t much of a problem unless everyone decided to unload on a different target the second I pulled. Not to mention they nerfed bear damage across the board so threat may be a little more difficult now.
Sorry about the sloppy run of Tol’vir, usually when I’m tanking for guildies it’s very nerve wracking so it felt very out of place to not have someone pulling for me or telling me to “Go.”. Next time we’ll use a little more CC, I was feeling very squishy for some reason.
The only tricky part for me in Tol’Vir was that you skipped a lot of trash I’m not used to skipping, so when we had to retrace our steps I forgot they were still there. I think I pulled trash we had skipped twice and the DK did it once too. Also that first boss seemed to pick me up and throw me against the pillar every. damn. time.
Can any of our Blacksmithers (blacksmithees?) make plate bracers with caster stats? I’m still wearing green ones and I haven’t seen any on the AH except the PvP ones (which I’m tempted to get at this point).

The only thing that I can make that is an upgrade are Ornate Pyrium Bracers, which are PvP, but I think you can reforge the resilience (not 100% sure though) to a more useful stat. Since you’re at work, the stats are:
1402 Armor
+237 Stamina
+158 Intellect
Item level 339
Equip: Increases Critical Strike rating by 105 (.59% @ lvl85)
Equip: Increases Resilience by 105 (.29% @ lvl85)
It is one of 8 “ornate” armor items for a decent starter pvp set (no bonuses for set). The mats are 8 elementium bars and 10 volatile waters for the bracers only.
The complete pvp set are bracers, gauntlets, belt, boots, shoulders, breastplate, helm and leggaurds.
Save the gold…let me make them for you.
