Also, I picked up the gem cut Reverberating Shadowspirit Diamond. Best item for any class that has Strength as main stat.
Ah, I was wondering where you were. I hadn’t seen this post on Monday.
Tonight is the night I usually play on my worgen hunter with my IRL friend, but I’ll be on Keyne/Kene/Kheen for at least a little bit first. As of yesterday, volatile lifes were selling for 10g each while airs were selling for 25g, so 15x15=225g for about 30 seconds of work is too good to pass up as long as it continues.
It’s been this way since launch and I don’t see it changing. Volatile Life is a fairly common drop from Herbalism, whereas Air can only be gathered by Engineers with a tool that causes it to drop with other gathers or from a handful of mobs that drop it.
Yeah, I’m just surprised that with all the alchemists in the world, the price for Air hasn’t dropped more. Maybe they’re busy making Truegold, which also has a pretty decent payoff.
I think you overestimate the number of Alchemists of the right level to do the transmute, who use their transmute every day, who also do that particular one instead of using it for something else.
Maybe I do. I’m not going to complain or broadcast it. Let’s just pretend this conversation never happened. 
Did another Tol Barad last night…we won again and although I died twice last night, I still liked the results of keeping pve gear on.
But the real news was is that I rang up 5 achievements in that battle:
For Yeticalayla:
- Became exalted with Hellscream’s Reach.
- Got my 25th exalted reputation.
For the Guild:
- Killed that endangered species known as a dwarf mage for Dwarf Slayer Achievement.
- Which contributed the final piece for Alliance Slayer Achievement.
- Turned in the quest for the Tol Barad victory and became exalted with Hellscream’s Reach which in turn gave the guild the Ambassadors Achievement.
Skammer…These aren’t the Alchemists we’re looking for…move along.
Grats, Yeti. I was hoping to get into a TB battle last night (and do BH) but the timing didn’t work out, since I had my usually Wednesday night appointment to play on my Alliance toon with my IRL friend. (Made a classically huntard move when I jumped down to the lower level in Gnomer without dismissing my pet first).
I did manage to do all the TB and TB Peninsula dailies, and got the achievement for doing 100 TB dailies overall. I’m almost exactly half way to exalted; then it’s just grinding for the trinket and mount.
So, I’ve been itching to see a bit more content this expansion than last. I really enjoyed our monday nights towards the end of Wrath.
And I’ve decided to move Rottingbird out of the BDL and into a raiding guild (I could not find a way to do it without changing guilds) I currently have an application into KA guild and they seem like pretty laid back people who get serious about raiding. (anyone know them?)
They make it sound like not very many people are online except for raid times. So I’ll probably be on Moobird a bit more now. (Especially with the new LFG buff I just read about in the other thread.)
But don’t worry, Moobird will still be around to bear or chicken on monday nights. And now that Cyranus is around we still get cakes and int.
Of course there’s always the chance it doesn’t work out with them and I’ll be back in a couple days weeping into my boney hands.
So it’s not really a goodbye since I’m not leaving the realm, and I’ll still see everyone.

I do know them. On of our raiders had an alt in KA for quite awhile during ICC. They are OK, and will let you see some content (I think they’re about halfway through the current raids, IIRC, maybe a bit more). I think they were a bit more progressed during ICC, getting everything but PP, Sindra, and LK heroic before 4.0.1.
His only complaint was what you said - they don’t have a lot of members on when not raiding, and I think they had a lot of member turnover at the start of Cata (not sure why).

I’m happy for you, but this depresses me to no end :-(. BDL doesn’t seem any closer to raiding then we were when Cata launched and I’m feeling impatient too. I totally understand where you’re coming from – I did the same thing with Kene back in WotLK although that guild didn’t really work out (they seemed to fall apart soon after I joined).
I guess I can try the realm forum but since I can’t raid Tue/Th a lot of them are eliminated right away… anyway, enough of the pity party. Good luck!
This shouldn’t get us any further away from raiding. Moobird can’t dps as well as RB, but with some gear he could. Unless you think I should level Lightbird for another Paladin 
I think we’re getting a couple more coming up to 85s, no?
Well having a tank (Moodbird) is more valuable to us than having a mage, for sure. I’m probably just jealous because I can’t find a guild whose raid schedule does not include Tuesdays or Thursdays or daytimes.
Have you tried advertising around? It would probably help if you’d be willing to server transfer, but even Cairne might have a weekend raiding guild.
Yeah, no, not yet, but I’ve been mentally composing an ad in my head for a day or two. I’ve got decent gear for a non-raider (level 350 I think), gemmed, enchanted and reforged appropriately, with a healing primary spec and some raid experience (but not in Cata). I’m mature, reliable, team player, etc and I’m available to raid 8-10:30 (sometimes later) evenings other than Tue-Thurs. I’m not looking for a hardcore progression raiding guild but at least one that is making an effort to get through the content.
I’ll cast around Cairne first (I’d prefer not to switch servers, because my friends are on Cairne AND I’d have to try to explain to my wife why I spent an extra $25 on WoW). That would also give me an excuse to go back and work on my priest some more, so I would still be able to contribute to the BDL.
Just an FYI that I won’t be available for the Monday night guild run. Going out of town for a few days to attend a memorial service.
I should be there tonight. If Moobird is tanking tonight…would this be helpful before our run? I got the mats.
I’ll be online. I’m trying to finish enough quests in Hyjal to get to Friendly before our run, so I can wear the tabard and start grinding rep. Finally hit Exalted with the TB faction yesterday but I’m still 50 tokens short of the trinket (not to mention the mounts).
It looks like that poleaxe is BiS before raids, and second only to a raid-staff. So yeah, if you make it I’ll use it for sure!
I also got a few UGs since last time, and reforged a bunch of dodge so I’m hoping to be a bit sturdier:)
