Hey RyJae, while we’d love to have you in the BDL, it’s a much more casual guild than a raiding guild. We only get together once/week and we’re still working on getting 10, raid-ready guildies. So far this expansion we’re just doing a heroic every Monday (maybe 2 if enough people stay on). But if you find a home on Cairne we’d love to get you to join us. A few other raiders have placed an alt in the BDL as a place to level while not raiding.
So come log on to Cairne, Horde-side and ‘/join SDMB’ and say hi! Someone should be able to get you an invite. (Alternatively, ‘/who burning dog’ and you should see most of us there too)

I am casual now myself, but can usually work in raids if scheduled well in advance. I will carry my hunter over probably this weekend (World of Warcraft) I need a new bow that is my raid goal 
One of our goals is to have a 10-man raid team soon, so it would be great to have you - especially as someone who is already familiar with the fights.
Yeah I am quite familiar I was in a good raid team and worked things out as a team. Surprisingly we accomplished 11 of 12 (and I think most bosses except Al Akir multiple times) on only a few hours a week of raiding. Sadly we lost half our raid team to Rift, and even though we filled the spots in, it was never the same. We managed to grab to many epeen wavers as replacements. Nothing wrong with getting a tad upset over the same stupid mistake a few times, but it is also about fun and even after a boss drop we managed to have someone complain about something that happened every freaking time.
Now I want to re-enter the world and have fun again, I do pay for a ventrilo 50 slot server if you do not currently have one. I am not hard core by any means, and hope your RL is as relaxed as humanly possible while we get smacked around by a whelp or two 
Also with an established group like what hopefully forms from here, loot rules would be easily dealt with and no petty bickering. (I only need one 359 thing… a bow! lol)
Our guild is very relaxed, which is one of the best things about it. And, in a promising development, we had at least eight people on last night ready to play so I think we’re just about ready to stick our heads in a 10-man, although I don’t think everyone is quite raid-geared yet. But as folks start running the new 5-man dungeons in the new patch I think we’ll be able to make some 10-man attempts.
Keyne was approached about applying for a raiding guild (anyone ever hear of Party Pewpers?) but if BDL is going to be ready in the next few weeks I’d much rather hang out with you guys.
Party Pewpers is an alt transfer guild, from what I can tell, that absorbed a few of Grand Army (who disbanded because their RL was an ass) and a few randoms (including at least one I know of that is a good player but never sticks with a raid group very long… probably says something about his attitude).
They have progressed through normals quickly, and are now 1/13 HM with their main group after three or four weeks on Cairne.
I’m not sure if you were approached for the main group or an alt group, but hopefully that info helps. If you have questions about any particular players let me know - there’s a decent chance I know them, or could find out.
It was for their alt group, which is looking for heals. Its attractive because they don’t (as of now) raid on Tue/Thurs which has been my main obstacle in finding a raid. But it was just an invitation to apply - they might not want someone who hasn’t done the Cata raids yet, although they sounded pretty open for the alt group. I could apply with my pally and if accepted get my priest geared up for eventual BDL runs. Hmm.
I, for one, am entering the home stretch of school. I think May 11 or so is the last day of class proper, with finals week from Friday of that week to Thursday of the week after that. So after that I should be good for raiding again. I’d say hang on, Kene.
Well, then…should we get another list together of BDL guildies? Sounds like we got 10 or more with all of the folks returning/transferring.
`I will certainly be there, I needed to fax in some information (switched phones and didn’t turn off the authenticator first… oopsie) and should be back by, they assured me tomorrow. So by this weekend I will be on the realm.
A couple quick things about me, I rarely do dailies etc (Exalted on all the cata reps already) and spend most of my time farming. I love running instances with a group though and running doing old achievements etc so I can still bring in guild rep.
You really, really don’t need to justify your play style to us, trust me. You could log on once every month to RP erotic Orc/Goblin fantasies in Orgrimmar and we’d be like “cool, sounds interesting.”

Does anyone have/need the bunny portion of the Noblegarden achievement? I need someone with a branch and the companion to finish off the final 2 pieces. (let bunnies mate in starter towns, and the hot springs one)

That will show a list of orcs in Org of appropriate level. Then you can check the list for female-type names, or you can right-click the name and select target, and if you are near enough to them, it will target them and you can use this macro from wowwiki:

Which will tell you if the character is male/female, race and if they already have the buff or not.
BTW the same does NOT work for alliance but you can start an alliance alt and run over to SW and then look around that way, then pop back over to your Horde and swoop in for the bunnify. Of course you will get flagged in most towns so expect to die, and it’s better to die by PvP hands and not town guards. If town guards kill you there’s equipment damage.

Who’s up for slaughtering Trolls tonight in one of the new 5-mans? I’ve finished ZA once but have not had good luck with PUGs otherwise. I’ve only been randomed into ZG once and we were kicking ass but I had to drop before the last boss due to wife aggro.
I’ll probably be on tonight, and I also have not had much luck in completing either dungeon. (on RB!) Haven’t tried it on Moo, and am not sure about tanking. (though willing to try!)
I should look into the rewards from ZA to see if there’s stuff I need.
(Plus I want to do the Children’s week stuff, but we’ll see how that goes…I may be hitting Azlokk up for some ports)
