That’s why I want to do some arena - I have no CP because you can only get 25 (per day?) from winning BGs. I have about 350-400.

Are folks going to be around tonight? I’m going to take the radical step of suggesting we start with whoever we have right at 9:00 server, so we don’t run out of time like we did last week.
I should be there although my wife will be away and I will have my kids trying to pull me in different directions during that time, but I should be good to go by then.

Missed this the first time around, but I’m fairly sure this is incorrect. The tabards do not boost *all *rep gains; they only boost *guild *rep gains.
We had 8 or 9 guildies on last night, which was great! However we only had 5 right at 9:00 so we did heroic ZG with Moobird tanking, Rahmon healing, and Kalathan, Jarryn and myself (on Kene) doing dps duty.
It was my first time DPSing a heroic in a long time and the the first time dpsing a troll heroic ever. We did all right though. I was so glad I didn’t bring Keyne to heal, since several nice caster upgrades dropped (Jarryn got some nice pants and I won the wand and mask). That mask that falls off the last boss in ZG is cool looking, it almost makes up for never getting that stupid voodoo mask from Zul’Farrak all those years ago no matter how many times I ran it.
So thanks for healing Rah!
Yeah, I now realize that…my bad.
Last night, LTL and I did some 2v2 PvP and I sucked when we were Ret Pally and Rogue, but when LTL went to his Priest to heal…we had an epic 32 minute battle against a frost mage and holy pally…and won! I was ice-blocked more times in that fight than the previous 3 years I’ve played this game.
That match was actually starting to get funny. Their holy pally was running around the pillar so I couldn’t keep him in sight to mana burn or mind control.. my feet were stuck to the ground every minute.. I was polymorphed over a dozen times. At a certain point, I was just running behind the pally stabbing him in the back with my spellblade.
I think we finally got a break when I got a lucky fear that sent the pally across the board, and I was able to mind control him and send him out even further while Yeti had the upper hand on the mage.
I’ve been upping my cooking today, up to 484. If anyone wants 'em, I just put these in the Vault:

Happy to do it. It gave me a chance to use my new UI in a group where people wouldn’t freak out if I made a mistake so that I can see what I needed to tweak for maximal effect. For example, I discovered I still need Quartz because I don’t pay enough attention to my target’s unit frame to notice the cast bar for interrupts.
I dunno. Kalathan’s wearing it currently, and I have to say it’s one of the strangest looking things I’ve ever seen. To me it looks as if she’s wearing a giant, spiked demonic fish on her head.
I may just have to turn off the “helms” display, 'cause I’m not sure I can stand looking at it much longer… 
I’m sad I got rid of my old ZG “Spider-Man” gear. I don’t know that they included it in the new version. 
Are we talking about the same item? Why is Kalathan wearing a cloth helmet?
ETA: Speaking of gear I got my final S10 piece last night for my PvP set – all I’m missing now are the 371 boots and the head/shoulder enchants. I probably also need to tweak my gems, chants and forging. But even without any of that I’m at 3.8k resil now which makes BGs a lot more fun :).
It’s the Roaring Mask of Bethekk. It’s plate, but it looks nothing like plate. Check the screenshots that are posted on that wowhead page - especially #3 which is also a female BE - and you’ll see what I mean.
(trying to find a site that let’s me post an actual picture of Kalathan wearing the helmet. I know there’s one out there; not having any luck finding at work though).
Ah, okay. I can’t get to WoW sites from work except the Armory on my phone, but I logged out in my PvP gear so I can’t even tell you what the name of my mask is or how similar it looks to the plate one.
So last week we had 8 or 9 on by 9:15 server. If we think we can get that many again maybe we can jump into BoT or BWD by PuGging the last person or checking with former-doggies or friendly guilds.
If not, we should try to do the same as last week, by getting a Z-heroic going as soon as possible.
If we did a raid, anyone have a preference? To4W is shortest, but I still hate the boss fight cause it’s in 3D
