Louisiana? You’ll be right next door!!!
Party!!!

BBBobbio, I trust since your first post this morning, you’ve put some clothes on…
Yes I did put clothes on for irk yesterday. However, I’m nekkid once again.
I’m not sure I can cope with all this nekkid posting at my time of life.
Good morning (or afternoon, as appropriate :)), all. I’ve been having problems with my home internet connection–cable modem. Me thinks it is a hardware problem with the modem, but comcast can’t get out until -tomorrow-. I am an unhappy camper about that, but what can I do?! Gah!
Still with the nekkid posting, eh? At least I’m clothed - or should be. since I’m at work. OMG, my eyesight is so very bad now with the cataracts. My new favorite commercial is the one for For Eyes (I think it’s For Eyes! LOL Who knows, I cain’t see!!) where the lady bids the kitty cat to come in, except it’s not a cat, it’s a racoon! That would be me, unfortunately!
Oh yes, my new favorite shows? “Pit Boss,” about pit bulls and Little People, on Animal Planet, and most of the shows on HGTV, but especially House Hunters and House Hunters International. Check them out, they are good tv. Well, good entertainment, at least.
Happy Hump Day!
I am clothed, too, but earlier I was not.
I was in a bit of a funk this morning, and didn’t want to get out of bed, much less go to work. I persevered, however. Then I couldn;t find anything I wanted to wear. So I tried on my skinny jeans. w00t!!! They fit! That lifted my spirits right up, so now I’m feeling better.

I’m not sure I can cope with all this nekkid posting at my time of life.
I’m nekkid at irk!
Under my clothes
Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up, caffienated and not postin’ nekkid.
Rebo yay for skinny jeans fittin’!
Herbs the one where the guy pours dry dog food in his grill instead of charcoal is pretty funny too. My favorite commercials right now are strangely enough insurance commercials, “Mayhem” with Allstate and those Geico commercials with the announcer goes on about could 15 minutes save you x amount of dollars with Geico and then goes into stuff like was Abraham Lincoln honest and so forth. Those are pretty funny.
Ok, I need to clean up and go do stuff. I need to go to the sto’ and do some errands I didn’t do yesterday cause I was slothful and did not leave da cave all day.
OYKW called last night and said as soon as his meetin’ is over today which is around oneish I believe, he’s comin’ back home and not goin’ into the office. He suggested pizza for dindin. Works for me!
And my PC is now recovered from its virus[color=silver][sub][sub][sub]: achoo :[/sub][/sub][/sub]. I crashed for 12 hours, now I feel better.
swampy, the only better bachelor mea; than HH is cold pizza.
Congrats on the skinny jeans, Rebo!

Have fun while I am gone. Leave the place tidy please!
: rolls out the Slip N’ Slide in the living room :
Remember, naked means y’all ain’t got no clothes on. Nekkid means y’all ain’t got no clothes on, and you’re up to something.
But I am up to something, I just had FemBoss send to the Security people a list of 183 SAP Transactions I need activated or else. Or else I can’t go on working, that is, because basically they’ve locked me out of my job.
Making The Security People Work counts as being up to something.
::Peeking through fingers…just in case:: Okay, I guess it’s safe. What all is going on in here???
Crazy old dog was banned from the bedroom last night. I hated to do it but it seemed to calm her down. She was snoozing away when I got up this morning.
Other than that. I got nuthin.

I like that commercial, there’s a longer version they show every once in a while where it shows the woman sleeping and the raccoon curled up at the end of the bed.
Howdy, ya’ll. Boy, after having such a nice day alone with the hubby, I sure didn’t want to come back to work today. Last night was incredibly loud. The kiddos learned F. So it was dueling trombones at 20 paces. Yes, they do indeed have great air support. I’m still recovering.
I don’t want any sympathy hugs, cuz I don’t know the woman. If you’re gonna hug me to work in a grope or three, that’s a whole 'nuther matter.
VWife went to the [del]Friends Of The Suffolk Library Book Sale[/del] Old Women Women Without Lives building to work this morning, and found out the OWWL president, who has been in poor health recently, is not only suffering from Stage 4 liver cancer, they shut off her life support this morning because she’s in the final coma. Prudence is a 4 month newlywed, and has known her diagnosis less than a month.
Seeing how the previous president that Prudence replaced died under similar circumstances, the OWWL membership now thinks the president office is jinxed, and they want to know who pissed off Voldemort.
Speaking of presidents, I’ve been asked to run for Rescue Squad prexxie. Yee and haw.
The eye doctor told me a couple of years ago that I had a cataract starting in my right eye. (that’s the same eye where I had a semi-detached retina at the end of 2008. Boy, wasn’t that fun!) Anyway, I know whereof you speak, Herbs.
I’m mostly nekkid, and wish I was up to something, but Wifey’s gone to the pool for an exercise class, and she’s my preferred something to get up to. (Talk about torturing a sentence!)
It’s time to get purtified and dressed anyway.
Big doin’s tonight. We live kitty-corner across the street from the new cultural center, and there’s a bunch of meetings starting about what to do with the street in front of the cultural center, amongst other things, and since we live on that street, we are very interested in what they want to do. They mean well, but they sometimes don’t think things through all the way. For instance, when they retrofitted the building, (it used to be a school), they had nice 40" wide doorways going into all the classrooms, (a good thing for people in wheelchairs), so some genius, or geniuses, decided to have installed 32" doors with side lights. which meet the very minimum standards for ADA.
My brother-in-law, who broke his back 2 years ago, rides in a wheelchair that is somewhat wider than 32", just as an example. Anyway, i was pissed. I don’t want any surprises happening to our street.
::aaaa-chooooooo::
Worked from home yesterday. Felt mostly better this morning. Now am all congested again. Blah.
I did sit in the sun on the patio with the kitty for most of the day yesterday while working. It was nice.
Home on time, currently surrounded by canines. **FCD **has a late meeting today. Daughter has a late something today, after which she’s going to get a manicure, then have coffee with friends, so she won’t be home till late. So I’m home alone for a while. No idea what my sweetie and I will do for supper - I’ll decide when he gets here.
Dr appt first thing tomorrow, and I’m taking Firday off. This has been one short week. Yay!
Power went out at home, so we had to scramble and make phone calls so hubby could go get kids. They normally ride the bus home, and get in through the garage: but the garage won’t work since the electric is out. We’ve been meaning to get one of them a door key, but have never done it. One will get my door key tonight, since I’m never out without my hubby. Grandma is there when they come home, but she can’t get up to let them in.
So, soon I’m off work, and then we’re off to church. Tonight’s the first night of children’s handbells: then we have dinner, and they have choir and RA’s/GA’s while we’re in church.
I can’t leave work for another 40 minutes, and I’m booooored! Plus this is the longest week EVAR, because I’m waiting for (a) the new job’s final offer and (b) my new Kindle. I seriously cannot believe it’s only Wednesday, and not even 4:30!
I get to sleep in a little tomorrow: a handyman and the property manager are coming to my place for a little while, and I don’t have to be dressed/fit for human company until 9:30. I’ll be in the office by noon, but it’ll be a nice slow start to the day. A couple of afternoon meetings, and hopefully Thursday will go by quickly (maybe even bringing final offers/Kindles with it) and then it can be Firday. The property manager is coming out just because he hasn’t seen the house in more than a year and he wants to see the parts of the back yard that I’m proposing to change, and the handyman mostly just needs to (finally) install a new deadbolt on the back door. He also needs to help me with the dumbest maintenance request ever: a bunch of the light fixtures have those tiny little screws in there so tight that I can’t unscrew them! So I have burned out bulbs that I can’t replace because I can’t get the light globes/covers off – plus there’s one in the stairwell that I can’t get to because I don’t have a ladder. So he’s going to help me with those. Which reminds me to stop by the store on the way home from work and make sure I have enough replacement bulbs (those compact fluorescents that last forever).
Aaand now I’m bored again.
Last night a crock pot was acquired. Today I come home and the whole place smells like chili. There is a crock pot full of chili bubbling away in the kitchen. There have been rumors of cornbread going with the chili. It’s time for me to go downstairs and crochet and look longingly at the kitchen until the chili is done.
CHILI!
