Actually it’s not so bad. The lime and the cilantro in the marinade is quite refreshin’.
Dindin, which was forage da fridge and pantry, has been ingested. Chillaxin’ continues. I completed the gargantuan task of haulin’ the biiiiiiiiiiiiiiig trash can all the way down to the road. Go Me.
Father’s Day has been uneventful around here. Obligatory phone calls, including the usual “Honey, come here for a minute, here she is,” as the phone is being shoved at me. (I hate that. I don’t like talking on the phone to people I like, much less to my husband’s idiot father and stepmother!)
Two observations: the next time Tony has surgery, he better come home with 'scrips for pain medication and Valium. We can fight over the Valium. Also, “patient” is the least logical word anyone could have chosen to describe a person receiving medical care.
They both come in blue bottles and I grabbed the wrong one. Didn’t help that I was stressing out over something.
I wish I could blame my son but he never does the dishes. That is my job, although it wouldn’t hurt for him to do it once in a while.
I poured some water into the dispenser and blue stuff floated to the top, which I kept mopping up. I read online that a turkey baster or wet vac works too.
I’m running an empty load again. Probably will run a few more
Have fun ruble! Call doggio if you need bail money.
On that note, I believe I shall retire to the boudoir and join OYKW who is either sawin’ logs or addin’ on an addition based on the noise I heard in there a little while ago.
Bigkitty, congrats on the ironing. I use a dry cleaner for anything that remotely looks like it needs ironing.
Hang in there, rosie
Sari, I remember once adding regular dish soap to the dishwasher, for reasons that now escape me. Quite an impressive diplay of bubbles, it was…
ruble, guess both you and I will be off the board for next week…how will they manage…;)
Rest of lawn mowed, dishwasher should have completed it’s cycle, and load 2 of 3 of laundry is on spin, so now I can concentrate on what I am forgetting to do pre-travel (I always forget something).
Called my brother, my eldest nephew had blood clots in his lungs, but he got himself to a hospital and he’s OK and back home. Brother and Sis-in-law were up at his place until today to check on him, but they are back home and all is well. Glad to know about it, I’d have worried all trip if it hadn’t been resolved.
