The coughing, sniffling, sneezing MMP

**sari **- please keep the snow up in the northern end of the state! TYVM!

**Bumba **- if you’re really interested, this is Ocean City.Of course, it’s highly unlikely that we’ll swim, sunbathe, or even walk the beach. But we might drive down to the boardwalk and mosey around there.

OK, Roxy needs wrangliin’…

I got the kiddo to school (after scraping ice off the windshield - what is this, the arctic circle?!) and he announced, as we arrived, that he was tired. I’m afraid that I was mean and kicked him out of the car to be tired at school. Poor lad. :stuck_out_tongue:
Tonight we dine on leftovers, which is always popular. Someone’s got to do it. I think it warms up slightly and we get rain tomorrow.

Time to call Terminex?

The snow missed us so far. And our Saturday is expected around 60 but rain and winds. I may just have to run the Sportie a while anyway; because I can. Just not during THE GAME.

“…To the shores of EPCOT/Mickey…”

How come no one gets a III or a V, just IVs?

[Emily Litella]Ooh, that’s different. Nevermind[/EL]

Boo! Hiss! Boring! No swimming or sunbathing? Travesty!

There are two good times a day to be on the beach:

Okay, time to make dinner.

We took Roxy out for BBQ - that girl can pack away the smashed N.O.T.s and green beans… and some of my sweet N.O.T. fries. Now I’m waiting for her to run out of steam so she can go to bed… yeah, right…

Again, all of you [del]sickos[/del] sickies get better.

Back to irk today and it was irksome. @$$holes from accounting wanting something from early December, but not really knowing what they wanted. More confusing emails than I could shake a stick at. It wouldn’t have been so bad had it been my regular job, but noooooooo! It was for one of my back up jobs. And then the grand boss found not so much an error, but something that got overlooked in a report a week ago and I had to go back and remove a formula so that I wouldn’t come up with a negative percentage.

I’m just glad that I’m home. I’ll finish up the heathen children’s craft and clean up the studio after KP.

DIL brought a casserole she made. That girl!
Actually was tasty. It was ‘Spicy Cajun Spaghetti’
I liked it but I ate too much. I’m eating ‘tums’ now. Mr.Wrekker ate it with gusto. That man can eat.
Mom- Him and Roxy must be related. I’m waiting on him to run out of steam and go to sleep, as well.
The Siamese cats are both contented with their lives at the moment because the dryer has been running for a big part of the day.
Jeopardy game of Champions comes on tonight. Yay! Lets see how dumb ol’beck can feel.

Beck - you’re a funny one. I mean that in the “you made me laugh” way what with the husband and the tums and the cats.
In news of the sad, I just got a call from the wife of the breeder of my puppy that the breeder is dead. I don’t know yet what that means for puppy. I know the breeder had PTSD. He and I had talked on multiple occasions about service dogs. I’ll talk to her again in a few days or so about the puppy. The truth is we’d rather have a young adult. Maybe that is possible now.

Long post went poof. Hubs is in an ambulance on his way to Miami. I shall leave about 0400 to go up there. Keep the good thoughts. They were all set to life flight him in the helo until we discovered the preferred hospital has no helipad.

butters, good vibes for hubby and hugs to you. Be careful going to Miami tomorrow.

I got the kid bag ready for Sunday. In the process, I went through the supply box that I keep for it and decided to go on a cleaning binge. Part deux comes tomorrow when I catalogue the supplies (you wouldn’t believe how many popscicle sticks and wiggle eyes are in the box), get rid of some of the stuff that didn’t work out well and, in general, keep a spreadsheet with the instructions written for the volunteers who actually wrangle the kiddos. By the time I’m finished, the paper recycling box will be ready to take to the center down the street.

Oh, no ‘butters’…I hope it turns out ok. Hugs to you and Hubs.
Keep us posted.
Good vibes coming your way.

Butters, best to you and husband.

Sunny, I’m sorry your dog breeder passed, hope things work out.

Sari, ruble, I’ve got rain predicted all weekend.

Not much happening. Got the Downtown Rescue Mission coming by on the 18th to pickup a lot of my furniture, what they don’t take I’ll have a local company called We Chunk Junk remove it. Biggest issue is my ‘office’, clearing that out and moving the computer and stuff will be tricky.

Usually this is Mac-n-Cheese night, but I hadn’t been out of the house all day and I have a couple of Xmas 5 Guys gift cards, so…

Take good care, y’all.

& this is coming from someone who called for the helo a number of times…
Depending upon your insurance & the flight service used, helo flight are frequently not fully covered by insurance. I’ve seen stories of the ‘insured’ balance billed for a five-figure sum, sometimes with the leading digit not a 1. They can be bankrupters.

The fact that they were willing to drive him is a relatively good sign; if he was that bad, they’d fly & not give a hoot about preferred horsepistol.

Good luck, ButtersHub

He just got totally unable to breath so we went to the local hospital where they gave him some meds to bring down his heart rate and BP and some lasix and oxygen. He was way better before they decided they could not fly him. The ER doc called and spoke with his cardiologist and probably got instructions but basically to get up there to be admitted tonight. He should have went days ago but stubborn men. Once he is patched up and back to normal I’m gonna kick his ass. And I have to drive to freaking Miami alone :smack:

That is insanity right there.

{{{Butters and Hubby}}}

I hope all goes well.

{{{Butters}}} I hope they get him fixed up quickly. How scary!

Still praying for him and for you. Good luck with the drive!

Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffeinatin’. YAWN ‘Tis 34 Amurrkin out and clear with a predicted high of 65 and mostly N.O.S. This mornin’ I shall head over to the church house to take care of some [del]church janitor[/del] Junior Warden duties. OYKW is goin’ to the Pubic Sto’ to lay in provisions. Sup shall be whatever inspires him whilst he shops. Not to worry, he’s actually pretty good with this stuff. Oh and I will go by Sam’s for a few items since I’ll be in the general area.

{{{Butters and Hubs}}} I imagine you are on your way to Miami or maybe even there now. Prayers headed out for both of you.

{{{Sunny}}} so sorry about your breeder friend.

All you sick[del]o[/del]ies, feel better soonest.

Now I need more caffeine and to feed rumbly tummy. Then, alas, alack, and bother, I must needs purtify and don appropriate bein’ about the public attire. Le Sigh.

Happy Hump Day Y’all!
