The coughing, sniffling, sneezing MMP

Okay, gotta go, I’m late already, but first…

Spidey you’ll be happy to hear I got my IV. I ask the tech when I was moving up to V or VI. He didn’t get it. I had to explain. Then I got the ol’ roll eyes. Dumb peeps out in the real world, I guess. No worries it tickled me. (:))

**Beck **- at least he got it when you explained. I have a t-shirt similar to this and even when I explained it to one clueless woman, she still didn’t get it. Are there really people out there who never saw a periodic chart??

Supper was good. Dishes are done. I’m about to assume the knit position. Here’s hoping I can sleep my plague away!!

Back home to my slower island. Until in the the wee hours. Thinking I will not set an alarm and let the chips fall where they may. Still took three hours to get home. Less race car driving on the turnpike but more stop and go with school busses. Stopped for gas and got beers too. My little hellion was most happy to have me home. Cat too but just for food.

Hubs had an echocardiogram after I left and is getting a Xanax to help him sleep. He hasn’t had decent sleep in days. Me either. I drove 250 miles today and spent 6 hours at horsepistol and have been speaking and texting since I got home. Cutting into my beer drinking time. I think I am only on number two. Gotta have at least four. Keep those healing vibes coming and prayers too please.

We had a white-out for about ten minutes and then the sun came out and made it all go away. :frowning:

sunny, I’m sorry about your breeder.

Moooooom, I had to think of the last time I had a CRT monitor or even TV with your link. :stuck_out_tongue:

butters, glad your hubby is doing better. My dad always had the same issue with the bed length at the horsepistol. If you lived closer, I would volunteer to [del]dogsit[/del] invite Buddy over for an extended play date with Nelson.

Good luck with the surgery beck.

I managed to get my own irk done today, thanks to one of the Finance directors. All of the BS coming downstream from AP was resolved with one email from him letting everyone know that the problem had nothing to do with the sales order guy or me and furthermore, we didn’t even have log in rights to fix it. Yay, Bob!

Tonight, I’ll finish cleaning and cataloguing the kid supply box. I hope. :stuck_out_tongue:

Ahem, I propose “MoonUnit”. You’re welcome.
Butters valve replacement isn’t the big deal it used to be, but it’s still major IMO. I’ll be sending healing vibes his way.
Also, re: Buddy, we got our Pixel from a rescue org. He was also downright mean. Growled at everyone. Didn’t want to be touched. Heaven help you if you got anywhere near where he was sleeping. We tackled it by having everyone approaching him give him a little treat. Also, no picking him up to get him moved around or to do what we wanted. He got a bribe for everything. It took a while, but he’s much better now. He’ll still growl about his food bowl, but he lets me take it anyway.

Evening all. Managed to get all the wall hangings in the house down with (minimal) damage to the walls, and shipped off the last of my VCR tapes for recycling, so the house is looking a bit bare. Going through stuff I haven’t looked at for 20+ years, a lot is going in the trash and some of it I’ll be keeping.

Everybody take care now.

Definitely pointless, but I was looking at a list of full moon dates for 2020 and saw that Halloween, 10/31, will be a full moon. How cool with that be?

Gracias sunny I like it. And I liked you even before you changed your name. Yes, we go back a long way.

butters, always wanted to visit the keys. I remember studying the bridges there in calculus. And we are practically neighbors. You have been really busy. But I love how you gots a beer priority.

Got the shave and haircut today. It is so nice to have that done. And here it is only $8.00 with a generous tip.

Gonna be cold tonight. In the 60’s. Which is cold for us. And there is no way to heat the room. Remember camping and freezing yer arse off? Yeah, it is like that.

Stay warm everyone!

OK, I will try to get thru the night without meds. We shall see how that works.

Nighty-night!!

Got the kid box catalogued and put away. Now to put away the stuff that I took out that I’ll use for other purposes. That will be tomorrow when I do some housekeeping in the studio.

Made chipotle chicken tacos with cilantro rice and Tex-Mex cream style corn.

{{{{Butters and Hubby}}}}

moonunit, hate to tell you, but you don’t get a vote on your MMP name; but I like Sunny’s suggestion too, so unless someone comes up with a better one, so it shall be.

Good night with the sleepage, FCM

Cupcakes, hopefully the skies will be clear then, perfect timing.

Mac-n-Cheese for dinner tonight, after eating out the past couple of days stayed in and rested the budget.

Not too tired yet, so probably will finish taking the garbage out to the can in garage (it’ll go out to the curb tomorrow) and then read for awhile.

I work with a guy who has a salty Caped Crusader shirt.

Switch to whiskey…or whisky; it goes down faster.

Mouth Organ Mooner

Noted. Hopefully, I’ll be home to do what I’ve wanted to do for a few years. If so, I’ll definitely incorporate a werewolf.*
**Werewolf?
There.
What?
There wolf. There castle. *

Gosh, today is almost tomorrow on the east coast!

A good day today. True, I spent a chunk of it on the phone trying to sort out insurance, but I’m hopeful tomorrow will bring resolution. But the best thing my sweet son called with good news. He’s been suffering from intractable migraines for two years. Tried just about every med out there, including botox injections in the scalp. Nada. Today he finally got in to see the headache specialist his neurologist recommended, and there is hope on the horizon. I am clinging to it.

I wish we could take our kids’ pain onto ourselves. I’d gladly take his migraines.

The feeling is mutual.

**nellie **I also have intractable migraine. I’d love to know what his treatment plan is.

WetOne very interesting. Good for her. My hubs had open heart surgery in 2008 to replace his aorta valve and it was horrible as they cut him open. He did well but that was very scary. The one he will have done now will be a much smaller horizontal incision into the right chest. It’s still open heart but that giant incision from back then has always been a sore point for him. He will have a Maze procedure to once and for all (hopefully) alleviate the AFib threat. So two birds with one stone. I am heading back up there. His procedure is not until 1230 so I didn’t have to go so early.

**Moonunit ** love the nic. The most beautiful place I have ever been was to Calica on a cruise ship. I imagine the entire peninsula is like that as I was on the rip of the Yucatán. Stay warm.

Thanks for all the love. I hope everyone had a great day and all the sickies feel better soonest.

Sunny Buddy is just like your dog sounds. I will try with the treats.

Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffeinatin’. YAWN 'Tis 34 Amurrkin out and clear with a predicted high of 71 and partly cloudy (partly N.O.S.?) for the day. We have no plans for the day. YAY! Well, I shall grill chikin strips for sup, so I guess that’s a kinda plan. Really though I foresee a very lazy day.

Butters sounds like this will get hubs all feelin’ better. Hope he gets to go home today.

Moonunit I approve of this nickname. Thus it shall be yours. So Mote It Be.

Beck so the kidney gets yanked? Any firm plans on this?

Now I need more caffeine and to feed rumbly tummy. Then, onward into the day! Rah.

Happy Thursday Y’all!

Much wakeage thru the night. Blech. Then I heard Roxy crying around 6. We were going to a program at the marine museum today. It now depends on her fatigue level.

I foresee a long day. Glad I’m retired!

Happy Thursday!
