The "COULD They Have..." Game

This game is based on famous people’s years of birth and death.

Based on when a famous person lived and died, you must answer the question “COULD So-and-so have done this-or-that?” Never mind whether they actually did- all that matters is, did they live at a time when it would have been POSSIBLE?

Example: “COULD Babe Ruth have seen a black man play major league baseball?”

The answer is… Yes. Babe Ruth died in August of 1948, and Jackie Robinson started playing for the Dodgers in April 1947.

A few other hypotheticals:

  2. COULD Sitting Bull have voted for Teddy Roosevelt for President?

  5. COULD Albert Einstein have used a Hula Hoop?

  6. COULD Charlie Chaplin have watched a music video on MTV?

  7. COULD Charles Lindbergh have flown on a Boeing 747?
