Oh, BTW, Bruce Wayne cuts off all financing of The Federation, and get his rich friends and governments around the world to do so as well, effectively killing the project before it starts.
The Federation doesn’t use money.
Superman could conquer all of the Enterprises without breaking a sweat.
Batman kicked Superman’s ass all up and down in… one of those milestone groundbreaking graphic novels that made history… so many… gonna guess “Dark Knight Returns”.
Ergo, Batman could take over all of the Enterprises while whistling “Dixie” and recuperating from a recent spinal injury.
DS9, on the other hand… well, Captain Sisco was played by Avery Brooks, who, as was mentioned by Miller above played Hawk. Batman and Hawk wouldn’t feel the need to fight, though that amount of cool in one place could well destroy the universe.
As for Voyager, they’d probably reconfigure their deflector shields to emit a tachyon beam (why didn’t they just leave it that way? They used that more often than they used the damned shields…) and at that point we return to the Plot versus Technobabble debate, which I leave to wiser heads than mine.
Actually, I think it would go more like this:
TOS: Kirk would end up fighting Batman hand-to-hand. In the midst of the scuffle, Kirk would launch into one of his trademark speeches, which would lead Batman to make peace with the crew. Spock and Scotty would then rig a device to send Batman home.
TNG: After making fools of Worf and the security crew (EVERYBODY does!), Batman would be rendered helpless by Geordie and Data’s latest technobabble device. Trapped in the brig, Batman would commit suicide to escape Picard’s endless preaching and moralizing.
DS9: After making fools of Odo and the security crew, Batman would end up facing off with Sisko. Sisko would express admiration for Batman’s skills, and recruit him into the war against the Dominion.
Voyager: After making fools of Tuvok and the security crew, Batman would end up facing off with Janeway. The sexual tension between these two ultra-domineering, hyper-obsessive Type A personalities would lead to a lot of raunchy fanfic, and Batman would join the Voyager crew (like everybody else does) and spend a couple of seasons scaring the crap out of Harry Kim at least once per episode.
Enterprise: Batman’s sheer force of will would overcome these pathetic slobs, and they’d end up repainting the ship dead black and roaming the spaceways, enforcing their own brand of justice.
Why not? In the DC-verse, he seemingly has access to technology from the 31st century all the time. He comes across immensely powerful alien species on a regular basis.
Remember… Batman runs with an insanely powerful crowd. He’s had far more experience than the entire crew of the Enterprise put together. He’s defeated better tricks and gadgets than the Enterprise can dish out. For Christ’s sake, the friggin’ PAKLEDS got the drop on the Enterprise.
