BigT, for what it’s worth I’m behind you. A couple of times you have pissed me off in threads, but shit, MANY others have pissed me off by many multiples of a couple. The pile-on here is just most of the usual suspects trying to add value to their board-cred (something I thought had died out years ago, but I was obviously mistaken).

Keep on going BigT, and fuck all your critics in this thread. That’s not to say they can’t have a go at you in individual threads, that is fair game, but this? Not so much.

kambuckta, normally I respect the hell out of you. And I still do. But I must say, you are way off base with your characterization of many of BigT’s critics in this thread. There are far too many reasonable and even-tempered posters who are managing to criticize his behavior without insulting him.

I’ll tell you what, you compare someone like Chimera to BigT it’s not even close. Chimera’s like this loose cannon spraying around near a filling station. You can just kind of tell from the loosey goose rhetoric, probably doesn’t understand a concept like intersectionality a whit (if you run a bus off the road carrying a relatively ignored minority like passengers with cystic fibrosis speeding on your way to counter protest a Nazi rally it might be a good idea to stop and treat the sacredness and dignity of their life as more than a speed bump).
BigT is one of the most thoughtful posters I’ve seen. I wouldn’t expect to have to worry about him wantonly disregarding the feelings of anyone who is or may have hardship. It’s unfortunate if he takes the forum too seriously. I’ve never picked up on that - doesn’t seem blindingly obvious. Some of his critics clearly seem to take it.
