Dammit! I’ve looked at this thread and realized that I can’t possibly win any of these awards.
Looks like I have no choice. I’ll have to hijack a Pit thread with my own rant that’s both funny and serious and which allows me to flirt with the other Dopers. It should show that I’m likely to become unhinged in public while displaying both my silly and my patient sides. Finally, it should kill the thread in a manner that gets me confused with Gadarene.
This may take a while…

Hmm. It sounds like a good idea, but I can’t think of any poster who has any of the first three specifications for the award and has the last one as well.

why is this in the Pit now?
Perhaps because of some of the off-colored comments in here. That’s fine with me, I just feel badly that it would have been taken as some kind of an exclusionary thing. It was really just for smiles, and a lot of posters here have taken it in that spirit.
My apologies to anyone who felt it was offensive.
