I got up at Dark:15 to drive two hours over 1½ lane wide country roads in pea soup fog to not see what I went for, something that only happens twice a year. Did salvage part of a bridge photo & stopped at the groc on the way home. Tis amazing how full the shelves are early on a Sunday.
Nappage complete, off to the liberry for they short-dated book sale (hey, used gets applied to fud around here) & then for a flight. Salvaging a busy day!
Howdy Y’all! I ended up deheathenatin’ with the Whiskypalians after all. I got a call askin’ if I would fill in ush duties for a sickie. Can’t say no to that now can one. Food intake has been in the form of sammiches and such. Tomorrow night is men’s night over to the church house thus steaks are marinatin’ and beer is chillin’. Also, I have hauled the biiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiig trash can all the way down to the road for pickup tomorrow. All in all not a bad day at all. Didn’t accomplish nappage so an earlyish bedtime may be in order. Oh and we got new church directories today. Huzzah!
Nut in case you don’t post or can’t post in the next MMP, have a fun and safe trip!
Three loads of laundry have been washed, dried, and folded/hung up. Also ate at a local restaurant and have had a crew in to clean up some of the mess prior to the final work. Have avoided nappage to date, but we’ll see.
Spidey, y’all going to tell us what you missed? The suspense is (not) killing me.
Posted pics of my new remodel stuff on Facebook, just because I can…
Have a fun trip nut!
Helped solve world problems with the heathens, popped into Staples, came home and took Nelson to the dog park. Tonight, I’m cartonizing two family recipe books I’ve been working on for the last couple of months and getting them ready to ship to two of my cousins. After that, it’s doing some more of the post-project orginization and watch some TV. Such an exciting life.
And the day is winding down… Chillage till bedtime.
All papers are done and turned in.
Now he needs me to help him write an email to one of his professors. He had an exam today and he had two answers marked wrong, out of 50, that he got right. At least according to his text book he was right.
He never knows how to question a professor without coming across as rude.
I had leftover shrimp for dinner and my belly is stuffed.
We got my new clothesline out of the box and put together. It can go outside tomorrow, I think. It is a very small umbrella type. It sits on the ground, doesn’t have to go into the ground. I also bought a small indoor clothes drying rack. I don’t like to put my sweaters in the dryer.
I’m trying to save money by not using the dryer as much.
Have fun Nut!
So what did you miss Spidey?
I wasn’t one of them; we were operating a couple rides in kiddieland. It first looked like we were going to be working the haunted house but ------- so we did as we were told and trained for. It was fun but ----- I really do love my Dark Rides.
Vikings and Packers tied but at least the Steelers lost. WOO HOO!!!
Worked, came home. It’s dark, rainy, and hot. Sort of a tropical Scotland.
2 days till hockey.
Nice pic, Spidey. Looks like a great place to take Flytrap bobbing for gators.
PACKERS DIDN’T LOSE!!!
A Manhattanhenge-like sunrise right down the bridge. The actual days were Thurs & Fri, but we had remnants of TS Gordon, meaning there was no sunrise because of rain/clouds. For the next few days, we’ll have the remnants of Florence, so again, no sunrise; by the time it’s forecasted to be sunny again it won’t line up anymore. It won’t line up again until late March, which is of course, close to rainy season, so who knows if that’ll happen then or I’ll need to wait a whole year to try again.
Gators aren’t native to the area, but if you can get flytrap there, I’ll make sure to get some imported.
I have friends at Clyde Peeling’s Reptiland ------ give me three days notice and I can arrange things.
Sunday night and do I feel juvenile?
Hell yeah!
