Oh yeah, and one of the guys (there were 4 interviewing me) asked about some football player who apparently went to Purdue. I’d heard of the player - I think he’s a quarterback. I had no idea he went to Purdue, nor do I care. Heck, I didn’t care when I was there! I told them that. Hope it doesn’t cost me the job.

Mr. Jynxster has agreed to have a date with me at the body exhibit this weekend so I am happy. I do have to say I might have erred slightly by sending my husband an email entitled ‘Bodies’ from my guberment account but no one from NCIS, especially Gibbs, has showed up to interrogate me as to where they are, so I guess I am safe. I did manage to stop myself the other day from googling the following exact phase from work ‘Norfolk Chinese Pleasure House’. There is a road near here named Pleasure House Road. There is a chinese take out restaurant that is pretty good on that road. I couldn’t remember the name to look up the phone number to place an order. I almost hit enter. What can I say, I had sweet and sour chicken on the brain…:smack:

My tongue seems to be improving. Maybe I’ll try tonguing (playing detached notes with the tongue - the opposite of slurring) on my clarinet tonight.
My supervisor is back at work. She will help support me in a music-writing project that I’ll be working on in the time to come. Exciting stuff! She suggested I write a piece of music inspired by my workplace - and sure enough, I’d actually had the same idea for a while. 
(Great minds think alike? Not that my mind is all that great. It’s a little screwed up. But for now, at least, it still works.)
Bah, my mood just went down. My mother just showed up here with no warning! Fuck me! FUCK! I’m hiding downstairs in my bedroom. It sounds like someone else is up there with my mother too. I don’t know who. I don’t think it’s my dad. I don’t know what’s going on.
Nobody is alllowed to say or do anything mean, or anything that’ll upset, my mother, because she’s severely mentally ill. therefore, my mother ends up getting away with a whole bunch of upsetting things/behaviours/actions.

Howdy y’all! I am all alone and unsupervised this evenin’. OYKW is at his place doin’ some irk he brought home, poor thing. Since I am tvless I have been messin’ with my kinda old but still functional laptop. Matter of fact I am propped up in bed postin’ on it right now. I have it settin’ on a teevee tray so I can be all comfy whilst playin’ with it.

Elsewhere in the house, my boys playfully fight over PC turns, cable channels, and Xbox. But here, in my room, I’m So Incredibly Thankful for a way to be able to pay for that.
For more than 3 months, I have had no income coming in. NJ denied me UnEmployment benefits. I had resigned because a recruiter Lied to me & Played me.
I faced today with a hole in my suit I was trying really hard to hide, and a sincere fear of what was coming in the future. Today: It got better. 
The interview I had last week where they walked me out for being Old is forgotten. I still don’t know Jay-Zs top 10 hits. But I will have a Job.

VWife won’t have anything but DirecTV. Especially since I pay the bill. They are slightly cheaper than the local cable company for TeeVee, but I went back to local cable for land line and Intarwebz cuz Verizon sucked even more.
