Dog is at oncologist getting ultrasound and sample taken. Blurf. I guess I’ll know more about what’s happening with him later today.
My house is dissolving into a weird maze of boxes. I don’t like it, but it’s for the greater good. 
DH is at a conference in Chicago all week, so this week could get very interesting.

I hate waiting for phone calls, I have several out there, waiting for the call backs.

Back in Silver Creek , Jawja where my sister lives. Flight is tomorrow at 3:16. I am ready to be home and see my hubby and Louie and the cat too. 5 days is too long to be away.
I am still nursing my sore lungs. I foresee another trip to the doctor for more medicine.
My sister had to run do some errands and I told her I would get a nap in the basement in her woman cave. That was over four hours ago. Jeez wonder where she had to go? I should have gone with her.
Supper was good. Ice cream has been ingested. We watched *Captain Blood *- what a cornball movie!
I need an uninterrupted night’s sleep, but I don’t expect to get one. I feel like I’ll never be rested again…
Howdy Y’all! Moanday has been survived and men’s night over to the church house was as great as it always is. Neither one of us cooked and et our steaks. There were some really good snausages to munch on as appetizers. They didn’t get all et up, so OYKW and I had them as our entree for dindin along with a baked N.O.T., sallit and bizkits. Thus tomorrow night I shall do chikin fried steak with ‘shroom gravy, green beans, squish, and rolls for dindin. YUM! Sump’n to look forward to ingestin’!

Guess what?! NO TUMOR! Apparently the x-ray overlapped his kidney with some other organs and that resulted in something like a mass when the vet looked at it. I may be somewhat irritated now about the money I have spent on this. (OK - I am irritated.) We are all very happy that nothing is wrong with Pooka-dog.
Spidey - WTH happened with co-irker? Was he escorted from the building whilst wearing his charming new fashion accessories?
I ate a very large amount of watermelon (I love watermelon) to celebrate the summer solstice and am now kind of reclining motionless. Apparently it is chock-full of vitamins.

As it happens, I had a busy day. Went to a call center to put in an application. Four hours, skills testing, and two interviews later, I’m doing new hire paperwork. Unless something totally outside reality as I know it happens on my background check, I start on July 6.

My summer plans are to clean up my yard, which primarily means clearing out the blackberry vines and wild roses. Travel? Sure, I’ll be traveling to the hardware store and the nursery.

Nothing to report from over here. I foolishly did a half-hour exercise DVD last night at home and am feeling the effects today…and I have a spin class at the gym tonight. Watched Game of Thrones, followed by a cute programme called The Secret Life of Kittens which distracted both my snoozy mogs because they couldn’t work out where the little squeaky miaow sounds were coming from.
The neighbours were quiet for a change so managed to get a bit of sleep with the window open in the bedroom. I don’t sleep very well at the best of times so Ophie got a lot of overnight fuss because she knew I was awake.
Irk today, less irksome than last week but still a bit of a nuisance as I lose my temp next week. She’s been covering my job while I’ve been on secondment, the job is being advertised as a fixed term contract as my secondment has been extended until March next year…that means at some point I’ll get another person to train who may or may not have a clue what goes on here. I need a holiday!
Today’s supposed to be hot and humid and rainy. Good day to be working indoors, I guess. And my yard will be glad for the drink.
I decided I’d let WaWa make my breakfast this morning, altho I did pack a lunch. Departure in a few minutes - after swallowing a handful of tylenol. The arm pain has now migrated to the back of my shoulder and the base of my neck. I’m guessing the irritant around my spine is changing? I dread going back to the Dr, especially since I’m thinking this isn’t so much an orthopedic issue as a neurological one. And sadly, the availability of specialists around here is limited and unimpressive. But Baltimore and DC are such long rides away…
Other than that, just another day in Parasite… errr, Paradise! Happy Tuesday!

I’ve got my quilt in the washer, I’m not sure it’ll fit in the dryer. If not I’ll ask the neighbor if I can borrow her clothes line. Unless it rains.
Right now it’s a clear, cool 78 degrees outside, supposed to get up to 85.

I think I am going to take a vacation day today, even though requesting it today is short notice. I need a break, I’m grumpy as hell, and feeling overwhelmed by too much shit going on.
We plugged in the cat feliway yesterday, we’ll see how that goes.

I have to go to the doctor in a few weeks and it’s a 2 hour drive. I suppose I could find a doctor up this way, but I really like my doctor and he has a very good reputation.
It’s only two times a year, so I’ll deal with it.
I can have lunch with my friend, whom I haven’t seen in months, and maybe my other friend can come down and meet us. Then again who knows, they have their issues to deal with right now too.
Seems like the bullshit life hurls at you never ends.

Also humid, but this is south Jawja where it’s always hyoooooooomid. I need to be in da Burg at seven-thirty this mornin’. It takes all of ten minutes from da cave so here I sit for a few more minutes. Other than that, a day in the orifice.
