LMAO, Rosie! That was a mistake, truly…
Right. I have a lot of baking to do. Anyone surprised?
:crickets:
Yay Rebo!!
I consider it pretty good when I’m close to 7. Which is usually. I exercise like a nut, but I have the dietary discipline of, well of something that has very little.
Caffienated, breakfasted and waiting for the little woman to announce she’s ready to purchase some window things, and Ikea for bookshelves.
Dinner later with some friends. They all have kids, but tonight they have sitters. Which is nice, I’m not in the mood for rugrats today.
Yay Rebo!!!
We’s done with yahd irk. Well, done with all we’re gonna do. Instead of fixin’ dawgs at OYKW’s place, I schlepped all the fixin’s back here to da cave. Should have just left 'em here in the first place. Makes more sense to wash ourselves then eat N.O.L..
Also, that means I have a freshly clean bear to ummm… groom.
Man I am moving slow this morning. Since I started losing weight in January (26lbs down as of yesterdays weigh in) I have pretty much stopped drinking other than the occasional beer. But last night I managed to polish off most of a bottle of wine. And I have the headache this morning to prove it.
The rest of today will involve shopping for my godsons birthday present and going to the grocery store. I should really start painting the trim in the two guest bedrooms as that is the last thing that needs to be done in the house but I really don’t want to.
Laters!
At least you can find your kitchen…
Right.
Forgot to say, go, Rebo! Good job!
Right. Got the cake done, bread’s rising, and I’ll prep dinner a little later. It’s just stuff that has to bake in the oven, not too hard for a no-Mr. Lissar-around dinner.
There is now a frog and a lizard in the house. They will be gone on Monday.
I’m knitting, or I was till I took a break. Break over - back to the needles…
if they mate, do you get a log or a frizzard?
eta - out to movies (King’s Speech) & dindin (prolly Applebee’s) with “the gals” - (my besty & her friend/coworker)
$192 at Tar-jay!
$206 at the grocery store
Holy cow things are getting expensive.
**mmmmmmm **- just wait as gas prices rise and see how EVERYTHING goes up.
I’ve got a kilnload heating up - it should be done tomorrow. I still have 3 pieces that wouldn’t fit, so it’s time to make more stuff to fire. I did finish knitting a wrap for someone - depends on who Mom’s AARP group gives it to. I have one more afghan to assemble - I’ve got all the squares made so I need to put them all together then edge the whole thing.
Should we do supper? Decisions, decisions…
Go Rebo!
Sorry about the delayed surgery, tarra. But, yeah, not a surgery you want to be sick during…
LiLi? Baking?
Yay on the weight loss, mmmmmmm!
I’ve been working on park stuff, getting all of our documents organized, doing meeting minutes, etc. We had a meeting this afternoon and have stuff planned through end of summer. Fun!
Am watching The Philadelphia Story. Haven’t seen it in ages.
Back to organizing stuff…
Hugs.

I’ve spent $1000 on Red Sox tickets in the last week. $300 for 4 Yankees tickets last weekend, $700 for 4 Green Monster tickets this weekend. I was so excited to be one of the fans selected to have access to the tickets (they hold these back from the regular sale and run a lottery) that I paid these astronomical sums without even blinking.
Then I drove to a friend’s house and saw that the gas station near her place was at $3.67/gallon. $3.67! I’ll pay $160/seat for baseball tickets, but who can believe these gas prices???
The cake is good.
I paid $3/pound for broccoli. I am feeling gouged, still, and that was on Thursday.
Did not see the **FairyChatFam **any more today. Y’all can imagine the looks on my face and VWife’s when I heard my name called out at brekkies today.
LiLi, I can report that I have now found and put away about 80% of my kitchen.
Get this: I am actually going to deheathenate tomorrow. It’s been several years since I went last.
If you haven’t already done so, go see* The King’s Speech*. Now. Go.
Gotta agree.
$3/lb for broccoli?
Bobbio: I am impressed at the forthcoming deheathenization. Also, at your ability to run into the FairyChats.
I’ve knit my way through another couple inches of sweater. Watched a couple of movies. Am going to bed now. Really.
Happy Saturday night, all.

In case anyone was worried, the kiln didn’t burn the house down overnight, so yay for that! After I let Scruffy out, I went downstairs to check the progress - the firing took 9.4 hours and it has cooled from 1800° to 1163°. I don’t know if it’ll cool enough for me to empty today - we shall see.
**FCD **has been bitten by the car bug. With the cost of gas shooting up, and his truck being such a gas hog, he’s looking for something a bit more economical, but sporty. No boring sedan for this guy. He started with the Solstice, but now he’s considering a Miata. He’s been doing all kinds of research and he’s excited, whereas I’d be just as happy if he’d just pick something. I’m glad he’s excited, but I hate that I’ll be expected to go along while shopping. I’m just not that into cars…
Today’s excitement includes laundry. rah. Oh, and hiding from the **Vunders **as they wander around town. I mean, **BBBobbio **is a nice guy and all, but put him with his wife and they become a textbook case of stalkers!
Just kidding And I’m not just saying that because he knows where I live…
Happy Last Sunday in Feb!
I’ll say an extra prayer for you during deheathenization.
