The I Got Called Out During The Sermon MMP

Jeez, we’re only getting rain.

The hormones are definitely a problem. I was ready to start doing 360 head spins on a couple of people on the commute home. I was fine during my actual workday, it was the commute that became an issue.

And I have a church women’s group activity tonight (and since I’m on the activities committee, I kind of have to go, especially since I signed up to bring low-sugar ice cream toppings).

At least tomorrow I can sleep a little later than usual, since I get the car (thus can leave as late as 8:20 and be confident of getting to work on time, vs. the usual 6:50), and should be home well before 4 (barring errands on the way home), vs. 5-ish (on a good day).

Got carne asada nachos for dinner, since I’m not feeling like cooking. A bureaucratic logjam that was clogging up cash flow is breaking up, it seems, so the checking account will hopefully be happier in the not-too-terribly-distant future. At least it got a little cheer today in the form of my pay.

Haven’t worked up the courage to face taxes yet.

I took our tax info to the accountant today.
We rented the trailer I used to live in as well as Mama’s house, so I hope there will be lots of losses to deduct.
I have an insurance adjuster to examine the tree that fell on the neighbor’s house and our retaining wall that fell; G-d knows we will need some money in the near future. :frowning:

Up, caffeinated, off to work. Hockey tonight.

Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffienatin’. YAWN ‘Tis 34 Amurrkin out with a predicted high of 60 and sunny for the day. The precip we were gettin’ didn’t last long. flytrap I don 't know what you told the moderators, but ya done good. Tomorow is supposed to be rainy and that’s fine by me cause no big plans are afoot for tomorrow. It will suit me just fine not to leave da cave at all.

Ok, that’s all I got. I need more caffiene and rumbly tummy wants sustenance. Then, alas and alack, irk purtification must commence. At least 'tis Firday.

Happy Firday Y’all!

Blurf. It’s relatively nice outside today, weather must be behaving itself up here because Nuts is visiting. Tomorrow we are promised the Storm To End All Storms so that will be something to look forward to.

Nothing exciting going on, I am at irk and it is generally irksome. Tonight there will be some exercise, a nice soak in the bath afterwards, leftovers for dinner and then some quality time on the sofa with a film for company. Hopefully Metallica’s “Through the Never” has popped through the door today…

Pretty sure this is my first visit to the MMP this week. It’s been crazy. Snow. Nephew’s lost glasses (since replaced and still not found). Irk. Irk. Irk.

Loved your OP, swampy.

Need to get up and at 'em.

Hugs all.

Bah, I’m gonna be late for class. And I’m never late for anything.

Yesterday was a bit of a roller coaster of emotions day.

So much to do today.

Exactly. On our base there is an old Ammo bunker or battery as it’s called. It is too hilly for a mower so we have organic lawn maintenance ala Goats.

Nah, for the military, there’s not enough words.

Integrated Turfgrass Management and Caprine Nutrition Program is a good start.

I must be insane. I’ve added voicemail to my home phone system. I’m eternally grateful that the previous owner of the voicemail card didn’t change the default passwords.

Well, that was ummm… weird. First off, howdy from da cave. I did, indeed, go to the orifice this mornin’. Was there at seven-thirty even. Right after eight we had a power glitch of just a few seconds, which is enough to knock power to computers, phone lines etc but not too bad. Then about ten minutes later, power goes out for real. I’m told it might be as much as two to three hours before full power is restored. Oh, and I’m the only one from my irk there as the other two are part-time and don’t irk on Firday. So, I called TPTB to tell ‘em what’s happened. TPTB says it’s my call to stay there until there’s power or not, so I say I’ll bag it at the orifice and irk from home. Thus, here I am. I gots plenty to keep me busy and off the streets. However, it sure is nice to irk wearin’ sweatpants and a tshirt.

Happy Firday!

It’s a sunny breezy 30 degrees with a projected high 0f 38.

We have to go to the store today, I am officially out of food and I am going to have a word with Sah-son. I told him to leave me a few slices of cheese for breakfast today, I’m not supposed to take my pills on an empty stomach and he left me … nothing.
I could put a little peanut butter on some crackers but peanut butter and my tummy don’t always get along so well.

One of my favorites is on TV today, Mantracker. That man can park his boots beside my bed anytime, except for of course he is married and I don’t do married men.

Mawnin all and happy Freyaday

Up caffinating and mildly blurfy. Somedays I just want to get on the motorcycle and drive away, today might be the day I do it. Not really but a man can dream can’t he?

Teh Sick has been dosed up with a Z-pack, and I am feeling mostly normal, though very tired. I just submitted my letter of resignation, saying I’ll be leaving the company in the first week of May. I feel kind of awesome and kind of terrified.

But I’m thinking about how to use up all my vacation time between now and then.

Good morning, all. Nothing special here - it was 27F when I went to work this morning, but it’s warmed up to the high 30s by now. And we’re having an insurance adjuster come to the house to check out the damage on the Mini after hitting a pothole this weekend. This happened last year, and we paid for everything out of pocket (new tire and rim, alignment and other sundry things) and the price ran almost $1000. This time the car may need some suspension parts replaced, and the wife doesn’t want to pay for all of that. So we’ll see. I think we’re not going to have a choice on this one.

I’m in school and nobody else is in the classroom. I thnk they’re all off somewhere doing something without me. Ah well. I figure if the classroom is open, someone’s gotta stay here and watch everyone’s stuff. So I appointed myself.

Sean sorry about the vehicle troubles. Vehicle repairs just suck.

I am bein’ surprisingly productive irkwise. Just nice bein’ at da cave without interruptions. I could have forwarded calls from irk to here but with the power out irk phone is inoperable. How pitiful! Ok, I have tried to call in to see if I can get messages but apparently the power is still out as all it does is ring, ring, ring, ring.

I have a forthcomin’ major issue to decide. What to do for N.O.L. I could just eat the sammich I made and took to the orifice but brought back with me, or I could forage da fridge for sump’n else. This requires major thought and plannin’.

I take it your are not using a VPN or remote login from home.

Fridge foraging sounds good to me, but don’t forage in mine because other than condiments and an old hot dog that needs to be tossed there is nothing in there.
I have never seen the fridge so empty.
I do have some boneless chicken boobs in the freezer, I should pull them out and use them up. I have some fart blossoms in there too.

I have stuff to do and I need to get started on them. Phone calls to make, stuff to mail. I hate snail mail but sometimes it’s what you gotta do.

Sah-son wants to know if we can just order pizza and stuff today since we didn’t order Toosday, and I am thinking it may be a good idea.
So I’ll take the boobs out to thaw in the fridge for tomorrow and order lunch out today.
