Ugh. I think I have developed Teh Ick. The minor symptoms of a sinus infection have been on and off for almost a week now, and I had decided that I had probably beaten it and instead gotten a frisbee-sized fever blister as a reward. But it’s feeling like that was simply a harbinger of impending doom. The back of my throat is getting steadily gunkier and my voice is disappearing. Co-Worker is out for the rest of the week, so I can’t afford to feel so terrible I can’t come in (until Monday, at least, which I may do just because). Plus, I’ve got a vacation coming the week after next, and I need to feel good to prepare for and then take it, dammit. Made a doctor appointment for this afternoon so I can try to head it off, but I think all my grandiose weekend plans of cleaning and organizing are about to be pummeled into dust by the reality of Sick.
But I’m kind of looking forward to spending the whole weekend in bed … because bed.

I hate it when OYKW has to eat and run. He’s gearin’ up for a state audit next week so he had to go deal with some last minute paperirk stuff, poor thing. He says tomorrow durin’ the day everything will be readied for the auditors and he ain’t even gonna worry about it all weekend. Good for him. Of course, here I am beginnin’ to gear up for an audit in April.
Audits are bad things. Audits deserve to be attacked by pointy stick weildin’ Sri Lankan spiders!
I didn’t get the good sleep I wanted last night, so I’s tahred today. I even nodded off at my desk - yoiks!! But I went to the gym and did my 30 minutes on the bike, then stopped at the little store and picked up the hats and mitts that didn’t sell. They’re all being donated. Next winter, I’ll be sending over some slippers that look like sneakers - I bet they’ll sell! I hope.
We had supper at Salsa’s, and I have enough left over for lunch tomorrow. Plus no dishes, so that’s a win!

although I suspect hellpups owner will ask me to keep coming until I move even though I don’t have insurance anymore.
Chinese food sounds good, I had a ham and cheese sandwich for dinner. I think I will have Chinese food for dinner tomorrow, unless ::crossing fingers:: we go looking at houses. Then I’ll eat dinner out like we always do when we go to Hagerstown. That place is full of restaurants.
Tomorrow we have to go grocery shopping.
I may have to pull out and crack the whip, Sah-son hates to shop more than I do. Sah-dog is out of treats, as far as he is concerned the sky is falling and it’s the end of the world.
I forgot today is my mothers birthday. I wish she did texting so I could send a text, if I call she probably won’t answer and if she does she’ll be grumpy. She hates to be called when she is on vacation. Then again if I don’t call her she may get mad that I didn’t.
I guess I better call, better to have her be mad that I did call than be mad that I didn’t.
Ok, this is not acceptable. Not acceptable at all! The weather PTB say we may see light sleet mixed with rain overnight and into tomorrow mornin’. Surface temps will be above freezin’ so it won’t stick, but still, I find this to be an unacceptable weather forecast and wish it to change post haste.
Dang MOOOOOOM that was fast! I have an appointment Tuesday afternoon with tax guy. I’m lazy and prefer to pay the eighty bucks he charges than do the stoopid things myself.
