Last summer I was introduced to a guy from Dublin who was living in NC for a year. He was just my type - funny, smart, soft-spoken, gentle, tall, longhaired, a bass player!, and downright fine - but I didn’t fall for him because he was about to move back to Ireland. But we’ve kept in touch on a regular basis and his mails are always sweet and full of longing to return to the States. About a month ago, I was talking about him to a friend and suddenly realized: I had a huge crush on this guy! It was a bittersweet revelation since there’s no telling if and when he’ll move back to the U.S. but there’s hope - I booked a flight for Dublin today!
