Glorious morning for a bike ride – sun shining, birds singing! Sucks that I will be plunged back into darkness on Monday with the advent of DST. My rear light has died, so I guess now I’ll have to go find a replacement this weekend.

The best two options out there: one of the SuperFlash models or the most obnoxiously bright light I’ve ever seen. They say the LED is brighter, but the strobe is the way to go. It comes with a belt/rear pocket clip & you can buy a seatpost mount for a few extra bucks (like $3 or so). When we go out in the morning, my friends won’t ride behind me if I have it on; it’s that bright! It’s kinda big, but I’ve never seen anything nearly as bright. Go to their website & lookup the ‘Contact’ info & call them directly; they’ll take orders over the phone
(I tend to light up like a Christmas tree when I do night riding cause I wanna make it home.)

The hostile’s wifi is driving me bananas. Up in a room, it’s about as hard to hang onto as a fist full of eels, but out in the parking lot, no problems.
Meanwhile, Day 2 of Knock Out Neutropenia continues. They like DH so much that they want to keep him until Monday.
Eta: silly autocorrect… We’re at the hospital, and they’re far from hostile. The pay, benefits and working conditions must be fantastic here as every member of staff I’ve seen has been at near Disney level cheerfulness.
