the i need to build an ark MMP....

Supposed to drop back down to 21 degrees overnight, but no wetness of any kind predicted until Firday, when the temps climb back up into the 40’s.
Cold is bad enough, I don’t need, or want, any snow. Tomorrow is doggie daycare day, so I won’t get to test out my new socks.
Finally heard from Bella’s dad. I told him we were all worried about him.
He says he’ll be there tomorrow.

We’re promised some snow between 3AM and maybe 8-ish. Then the sun will come out. But at most, we’ll see low 40s. Ah well, it’s winter.

Supper was good, and there were enough leftovers for Roxy’s lunch tomorrow. The dishwasher is doing its thang right now. I’m about to assume the recline position.

Rain, work and tomorrow after work I have my 5000 mile tune-up with my GP/GS. I may look at having a couple annoying lumps on my back tested. I am 90% sure we’re talking cysts but since I’m seeing her anyway ---------

There is snow on the ground in North Ali-bama. No, not much (less than an inch I’d guess), but it is enough to cover the grass. Of course they cancelled all evening activities around the area (heaven forbid Southerners try to drive in snow, even if there isn’t a drop of it on the roads).

Did not nap or shop this afternoon, will fix the Tuesday Mac-n-Cheese here shortly. Supposed to be in the 40’s tomorrow, so the snow should be going away very quickly.

Sari, if your son ever joined the MMP, I already have the perfect name for him: Mycroft (as in Mycroft Holmes, Sherlock’s very private (and possibly smarter) brother).

All y’all take care.

I’m not an expert on kosher rules, but I think you’d be OK with cornbread as long as you’re not serving it in the same meal with meat.

Except maybe at Passover.

DH was in utter bonehead mode today, so I’m slightly sulky, but Del Taco is on the way, which will help (I like the Carnitas Combo Burrito). We did pick up a couple of his prescriptions while we were there.

Got one grocery ordered delivered and put away. The delivery lady had a cute daughter helping her. Gotta pick up at Walmart on the way home (the security gate can pose problems for evening deliveries, so on weekdays, pickup is less hassle).

Next Thursday (the 19th) is going to be entertaining. Three different medical appointments at two different hospitals in different parts of the city, and of course the odd one is the one in the middle, so we’re playing yoyo. Bounce to nearby hospital for PT, zip to other hospital for (hopefully final) visit to orthopedic surgeon, bounce back to nearby for appointment with occupational medicine doctor. Hopefully, the upshoot of all this is that DH gets clearance to return to work and enough info about limitations that he can then let his employer know so they can find him something to do.

It was 70 tday, and it’s supposed to be 40 tomorrow.:dubious: But I did laundry, got groceries, and walked Gordie before the rain hit.

It’s OK. We can put you on the “B” Ark, with the termites and woodpeckers.:stuck_out_tongue:

It is tempting. And one of the folks in my tailgate group says it’s damn good.

I will not buy this MMP, it is scratched!

One time in [del]band camp[/del]high school(Durham, N.C.), it started snowing the last day before Christmas Break, so they dismissed school early. The snow had stopped by the time the last student got on the bus, and the snow was gone by the time I got home, 30 minutes later.

Isn’t the requirement to board the ark
the Mumpers, the Mumpers,
they came on by twosies, twosies?

I shall swim alongside. I’ve always wondered: how do you steer an ark?

Went to store. Bought, among other things, ingredients for Johnny LA’s Fish Florentine. But now nausea is back. Maybe I need to eat?

butters, you haven’t eaten any brownies lately, have you? :stuck_out_tongue:

nellie, I grew up a couple of hours south of Chicago and we called headscarves babushkas too.

Today was a truly shitty day.

Started out gray and rainy, got cold and by the time I left irk, the rain had turned sleetish. I irked 2.5 hours over because our system is f!@$ed up and I had to do some tedious stuff over and over. In the end, the one invoice never got out (the sales order guy was having the same issues and need some help). It amazes me how we even get orders out with this system.

I think, I hope, I swear I’m done shopping for Christmas. Iff’n everything gets delivered, that is.
I swear next year they are all getting gift cards.

Another remote?

ducking and running

I’ll never tell. (;))

No, no, no. That’s the “C” ark. The B ark is for the doggies. :stuck_out_tongue:
Drinking tea w/ honey to soothe a savage throat. :frowning:

Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffeinatin’. YAWN 'Tis 46 Amurrkin out and cloudy with a predicted high of 58 and cloudy for the day. Today I shall lay in provisions and take care of [del]church janitor[/del] Junior Warden chores over to the church house. Sup shall be steak sammiches (steak from last night’s sup) 'n fries. This should be enough to keep me outta trouble for the day.

Now I need more caffeine and to feed rumbly tummy. Then, alas, alack, and bother, I must purtify and don appropriate bein’ about the public attire.

Happy Hump Day Y’all!

First snow of the season - the grass was white in patches, the paved areas are just wet.

I decided to drive thru McD’s for a McMuffin breakfast meal. My Diet Coke turned out to be Cherry Coke, and I was too far down the road when I discovered that. Then my McMuffin sammich had eggshells in it, and the muffin was burnt. Is it gonna be one of those days??

Probably - Roxy woke around 3:30, so I’ve been up since then. Dammit. Then last night, **FCD **informed me that we’ll be doing the $10 goofy gift exchange in FL, so I’ve got to find a $10 gift. I’ll probably go for something edible or drinkable, since none of us need any permanent junk.

Onward. Happy Wednesday!

Having predicted LED display monitors in cars, I shall go on to predict cell phones having universal remote controls which can interrogate a device and download operation codes from the web.

Morning all. The snow is still with us here in N. Ali-bama, but the temperature is supposed to get to 47F, so it should be gone by the afternoon.

Some more house makeover shopping is on the program today. Just checked on-line and the checkbook is balanced, so all is well on that front. Need to contact some painters and get estimates done after Xmas on the interior painting.

All y’all have a good Hump day.

heck you can turn and program your tv via app with chromecast type of stuff…

page 3 :stuck_out_tongue:

Nope - still page 2. You must have some weird setup to hit 3 at post 77 (or 78?)

You’re all actually on page 1, people.
