I nearly died of missing the misfits around here yesterday. As busy as my day was, I was lonesome for all you jerks. I kept going back and looking for the Dope.
I’m glad you were all rescued.
Safe and sound back on my screen.

I, too, kept checking constantly!
Bailey came home, and I couldn’t TELL anybody!
~VOW
~VOW, so happy to hear Bailey is safe.
Beck, just be glad you weren’t around for the Winter of our Missed Content. You would have hated that!
hugs the Beck
I’d spent Christmas Day in Wisconsin, at my parents’ place, and was almost entirely offline until Thursday afternoon. I missed the outage entirely.
But, we’re all back now!
Oh yes, you would have hated that. And we lost quite a few Dopers who never returned.
Oh, yeah. I can imagine. I nearly absconded. (NOT)…
I couldn’t get home to the Midwest for Christmas, so it was just me and Vaya hanging out while I fought off an infection.
The splash screen for routine maintenance will live on in my nightmares.
Lurked on GB a bit. Saw the relevant Dope Down thread. Didn’t get desperate enough to sign up. Got some housecleaning done instead.
How did JackieLikesVariety get a join date of September 2022? :dubious:
: bounces excitedly :
THE TIME MACHINE WORKED! THE TIME MACHINE WORKED!(WORKS? WILL WORK?)
Glad we’re all back, Beck.
I’m glad to hear that Bailey (that tramp) made it home, VOW.
When I woke up with the Cats at about, IDK… the FIRST TINY LIGHT!!! of dawn, I went to turn on my laptop and read the Dope, my fingers were shaky. I got dizzy and sweaty, I may have PTSD.
(:))
I actually went outside and got some work done! It was freaky warm here yesterday, 62F. Much colder today.
The outage was a plan by TPTB so we would spend more time with our family and friends.
My family and friends wish to speak with TPTB and it’s not to say “thank you.”
I’ve always thought a squirt-gun that shot jelly would be Awesome!
We are all glad, especially COTU#1 and COTU#2!
Bailey is currently cowering and supposedly contrite. She is also now wearing a harness that is almost as tight as a tourniquet. Her toes have not turned purple, so it isn’t TOO tight.
The other doggie, Ciroc, is very pleased his wayward sister is home. He was extremely unsettled all the while she was gone.

Nah. Hate to break it too you, but that’s not PTSD. Those are the symptoms of withdrawal.
You is 'ddicted!
~VOW
Beck, you jerk, I was lonesome for you too. It was bad bad bad without you.
