To get a sense of perspective, that’s the month American Gigolo was released. (No, I wasn’t in it!)
Did a bunch of yardwork this weekend in my quest to go completely organic. Fortunately, it was followed by a wonderful, soaking 9 hour slow rain so everything looks great. Did a bunch of potting of new plants and repotting of others so the patio is tres colorful now.

One of my favorite scenes in Duck Dynasty was when they dammed up the loading dock and ran a hose for several hours to create a ‘research pond’, let loose a dozen pet ducks from the mall and the six guys just sat on the ledge with their duck calls *making conversation’*with the happy quackers. Funny stuff.
I am sitting at the county courthouse in the jury pool. Unfortunately not a swimming kinda pool. It’s not BSD. Big room with windows, coffee AND donuts AND free box lunch. The jury pool is 90 people, the majority of which are middle age whites, proving my theory that jury selection is anything but random. This is the 6th summons for me.

It’s 23 degrees above freezing, grey, wet and rainy.
I feel a bit blurfy because I stayed up all night talking to a friend on the phone.
We have to go grocery shopping sometime today, shopping in the rain is yukky but maybe by the time the kid gets home the rain will have stopped.
Congrats Cookie on all the good stuff. Sucks to have to find an ex I guess. Mine moved less than a mile from my mothers house, right around the corner from an ex-bf.
