The rain continues. Second load of laundry in washer, first in dryer. Aquarium water is heating and mixing. Leftovers consumed for lunch. Salads and burgers for supper.
I wish we still had pellets. It’s not really cold in here, but it’s cool and damp and a fire would make it nice and cozy. Oh well…
I think after I de-puppy-ize the carpet in here, I’m going to assume the knit position and watch some TV.

Not feeling great this morning.
Just found out that the hail storm we had in Houston on Saturday dinged up my car a bit. Oh well, time to file an insurance claim when I get back, I suppose. Hope it is covered.

I’m taking my morning break to eat breakfast. It’s leftover dinner, which was turkey, mushrooms, and broccoli, with some mushroom soup to make it a little sticky.
Last weekend was the Asparagus Festival in beautiful downtown Stockton. They close one of the main streets for it. It takes a week for them to set up. I’m hoping it doesn’t take a week for them to clear out. Even after a full week, morning habit still sends me to the detour instead of on an alternate route that’s about the same distance and is detour free. :smack:
I saw that on the news, that and some folks got about half a foot. We were light, 1/10" for 10 hours. Awesome slow soaker that had everything perked up yesterday.

Just went to do my laundry- I had the whole place to myself, nothing else but my stuff in any of the machines, when some random guy, clearly not carrying anything, comes in, points to my bag, which is on the seat next to me, and says, “Can I sit there?”
He seemed very reluctant to take “No, Mr Random Guy who likes sitting next to strange women in laundrettes, I will not move my bag so’s you can creep me out better” as an answer. Not that I quite stated it like that.
He then proceeded to sit on the seat next to my bag for a few minutes, occasionally giving me funny looks, then got up and left.
This place is too full of weird sometimes.
Ouch. You should do your laundry at FCM’s place. It seems very normal there.

I was surprised that the two or three drakes on hand were kinda/sorta trying to help. I had read in a few places that drakes don’t take very good care of the little duckling babies.

‘Tis rainy and dreary in south Jawja. Might as well be since I’m here at irk. ICK! Dindin will be BLTs and oven fries cause that’s easy and I’m not in a cookin’ mood.
