I’m done playing in clay. I mixed up 6 different colors of slip for a few future projects. I tried one project - not sure yet if I like it - I may be able to save it.
So for now, I’m having a little popcorn and lemonade, just because. I’m sitting down, but my feets are dancing!
Dishes are done, fish is thawing, **FCD **isn’t home yet, I let Higgs out and forgot her. I think she’s forgiven me - she’s hunting Taz at the moment.
Laundry is done except for putting it away, pizza is eaten, didn’t have to walk hell-pup today, bedroom is vacuumed, droppings have been cleaned up, I need to put the stuff back in the desk drawers, Sah-dog is happy because he isn’t shut in or out of my room, hounds from hell are quiet.
So I will put the clothes away, put stuff back in the desk, put another liner in the trash can
oh crap just remembered I have to break down and freeze the meat I bought yesterday
I am going to have a chemotherapy port installed in my head so that I can run a bleach rinse through on demand.
If anyone else wants one, perhaps we can get a rate.
It’s been known to happen if they do something really egregious…like admitting to falling below the mandatory 12 rolls of TP.
Tell you what, ifin I’s can find my, I’ll then be motivated to look for yours.
I was planning on leaving early, now I’m not because I’m playing taxi driver for someone else’s kid cause his dad hurt his back & really shouldn’t be behind the wheel…all while mine is now home (cold) sick. Yeah, I’m earning major karma points.
This is precisely what the kiddos (10 & 12 y/o) ask for when we have family movie night at home. (Though they also ask for ice cream afterward. Hard to say no, y’know?)
Getting ready to take doggies out for round #2. There are about 100 acres of woods behind the house with lots of trails and ledges and stuff that the dogs really like. They can run off leash and burn off energy, which for the new guy (Bandit’s about 3 y/o, but acts 3 *months *old) is really helpful.
Good for me, too, as it helps* keep the pounds from accumulating around my
midsection too fast.
“Helps” as in, ‘the older I get, the more food seems to attach itself to my center and refuse to leave’. Walks sort of keep this process at bay. Sort of. Ain’t right, I tells ya…
Heh. I was doing fine until I ate lunch (which someone else had packed for me - yay!). Now I want a nap. Although it’s hard to nod off completely with all these people talking about dancing.
What do I remember from this morning? Ah. They had the festival all cleared out of the street this morning. Which is a good thing because I never did learn to take route B and avoid it and its detour.
Better than the one I had all day. Sunglasses at night. I did it to myself, so that makes it worse.
I took my car up to Night Audit Lady’s husband today and he said he couldn’t find anything wrong with it, but if the check engine light comes on again bring it up to him and he’ll reread the codes. So there’s that weight off my mind. I went up the mountain on the way home and came down with a trillium. Trillium!
Sketties ‘n meatballs with angel hair pasta, sallit and garlic bread consumed. YUM! Even leftovers for tomorrow’s din so yay. I made some tuna sallit for N.O.L. tomorrow cause I got me a gnawin’ and a cravin’ for some. Round heah it’s often called tuna fish sallit like there’s more than one kind of tuna so one must clarify fish. Never have quite understood that.
A trillium sounds like a whole lot of whatever that is Spaz got up on the mountain.
My hubby is out of town and I kind of like being alone. Is that bad? I do have the dog and cat to keep me company.
He left on Sat but pulled the suitcase out and started to pack on Friday evening. So when we went to bed the dog, Louie, started acting weird; standing on my pillow, pacing, panting and just in general miserable. I was up with him most of the night. I walked him about five times thinking he had a tummy ache. It’s went on all night long and at 7 am I finally called the house call Veterinarian.
Vet comes immediately, examines him, pokes and prods and even did the old anal gland expression which has been a problem in the past. It was not the problem this time. Vet only charged me $88 waiving the emergency fee. Vet said if he keeps it up call him back and he’ll draw blood but he really can’t find anything wrong.
As soon as the airport shuttle picked up hubby Louie settled down and was fine. He has/had separation anxiety. I guess he thought we were both leaving him. He misses hubby but is back to normal.
I have permission to take him with me to work as I don’t have a regular pet sitter and would not leave him alone for 10 hours as hubby is usually in and out several times a day. I guess I will never be able to go anywhere without the dog. Little stinker.
I had a nice relaxing day off today and finally broke down and went through and organized my dresser drawers. Fun times.

Wish I knew earlier. DH had his portacath removed today.
It cost $6200 to have it installed, so budget accordingly. No idea what they’ll bill for the removal.
