It seems to me that a warning would only attract more attention. It obviously would not help you as you are already fully aware of what Panicbird is all about.
It’s a damned shame to have God’s right arm and only use it for jacking off.
You do know that’s straight out of fundie Pentacostal ‘doctrine’, right?
There’s even a Chick tract about it.
I duuno. I don’t think the world needs any more e-holes.
lol
But God gives such an awesome Dutch Rudder !
Okay, I’m done with him. When your response to the question
is effectively “Yes”, you’ve moved beyond the reach of polite society.
Been there, done that. It was not about angels and demons, but equally powerful delusions of a similar scale that even in hindsight and with a sane mind are frightening. I was lucky to get help soon, so this state didn’t last long, but from that experience I can only guess that all the crazyness expressed by **kanicbird ** are signs of untreated psychosis. It’s actually very sad, given the fact that it can be treated very successfully.
You are either dangerously batfuck insane, if what you claim about your drunk driving escapade is true, or you are just a creepy jerk who likes to threadshit all over science and religion threads. Your occasional “LOL’s” tend to make me think the latter, so if you are actually sincere in your beliefs now would be the time to say so.
What’s the point of asking anybody if they are sincere?
Personally, I am much more comfortable talking to windowlickers like kanicbird via the safety of a message board than in a Starbucks or something.
Fool. If they are they’ll say yes, and if they aren’t – wait. I forgot how this goes.
It’s Fool of a Took! God, do you people even read my blog?
I refuse to bait K-Bird anymore. I’m convinced that he is this close to either taking himself out, or some random unnamed batch of schlubs.
And I don’t want to be in that latter group. If I’m going to get aced, I want it to be for a good reason.
Not if it’s not written in Quenya, or at least Sindar.
Khuzdul would also be acceptable.
No Adûnaic, though!
:: fingers Nauglamir ::
I do not suffer the langauge of the Kin-Slayers to be spoken in my realm; likewise the tongue of the the Stunted Ones who treacherously slew my grandsire. And it is impossible to make a good pun in Adûnaic.
Oh? :dubious:
What about “Sharkû”?
And the whole Brandywine/Baranduin/Brandagamba/Braldagamba and Branda-nîn/Bralda-hîm stuff?
Real knee-slappers there!
Speaking as a longtime mental patient, Kanicbird strikes me as genuinely nuts. I have a friend who thinks he’s a werewolf (He’s also very kind, funny, and incredibly inteligent). I know a man who thinks I’m Jesus (frankly he gets on my nerves, but he really knows how to party so I give him a pass).
Kanicbird’s delusions don’t even seem that uncommon to me. Larry Borgia’s post is spot on. Delusions generally include the belief that the patient is very important. Why else would the CIA and New World Order be watching them?
Finally, Kanicbird’s insanity has lead to my examining my own faith far more intensely than all the arguments of the board’s atheists put together.
Somewhere kanicbird is nodding vigilantly; “My work here is done.”
Now who sounds delusional?
ETA: oh, crap, Melon - you’re totally right.
