The last MMP of 2018

I hope everything goes well withAdam at the vet tomorrow sari.

{{{Juliet}}}

I’ve been home all day today. I had gas last evening and long about four o’clock this morning it got messy. Once things got settled a bit and a load of laundry done (you don’t wanna know!), I slept a lot and binge watched Timeline on my tablet. I’ve been sipping tea all day and just finished some scrambled aigs and toast. It’s gotta bet better tomorrow.

Was down to 72 degrees at midnight last night. Siberia could hardly be worse.

Got the gym set up in record time (24 minutes) for soccer tomorrow, so rewarded myself with a bag of potato chips. Nothing else planned outside sleepage in a few hours.

Hoping for Good News, {{{Juliet}}}.

Sari, hope the tale of the tail is a happy one.

Spidey, given your name I know bugs interest you, but I didn’t know they were burly or fought fires…

At the school gym(s) 8:30am-4:30pm tomorrow. Hold I can hold out.

Take care all y’all.

Adam seems to be doing better.
I just remembered that he fell of the end table yesterday, the one I’m not allowed to put anything on because it is his ‘bed’. He may have hurt himself then.
He’s holding his tail a little better tonight.

He got some of his favorite treats today, the dental ones.
He was sound asleep on his table when I opened the jar to toss a few to Ripple. I turned back and Adam had wakened out of a sound sleep and was sitting up looking at me with that where are mine? look. I gave him a few and he dove right into them. Then he kept starring at the jar and looking back at me because he wants more treats. I think he’d eat the whole container in one sitting if I let him. So would Ripple, they both go crazy over them.
Anyway, I think Adam will be fine and I am feeling a little less worried about him.

I forgo I was suppose to go to the armpit tomorrow. We’ll go next week, I think. My mother had dr appointments every day this week (except Toosday) for her knee. She did a lot better with her first knee replacement, but she was a lot younger and her bf was still alive and he wouldn’t let her sit around all day. She knows as much as it hurts you have to keep moving, but she sure doesn’t want to.

My cat likes dental treats. She likes them so much that she practically inhales them and I don’t know if they even touch her teeth.

Went to a doctor today who told me more about recent test results. He referred me to have another test, though he said that with the results of the tests already done, I have about a 98% chance of having celiac disease.

Think I’ll go defrost some gluten-free bread.

Juliet I hope they figure out what’s going on.

Tomorrow, Saturday, my mom will be leaving the hospital for physical rehab. She’s been at the same place before, when she broke her arm. Mom thinks that when it is over she will go home but I think at best it’s 50/50. However, I’ll speak to her as if I think she will return, because it will keep her spirits up and she will feel better.

Wishing the best for both of you.

And anyone else who just needs a good hug.

Worked, went to the game. Canes won, and the game winning goal was scored by…Greg McKegg(I wanna get the St. Patrick’s’ Day jersey with his name on it)

Good morning! Busy day already. Critters have been tended, pellet stove had been cleaned and refilled, and I ran the vacuum thru the office and living room. I’ll finish after everyone is up.

For now, I’ll caffeinate and surf.

Today is my mom’s surprise 85th b-day party (her actual birthday is Moanday) and my bro is hosting a big to-do at an Italian restaurant near where Mom lives. That, of course, means a 2+ hour drive for us, but one’s mom only turns 85 once, right?

Other than that - laundry and cleaning the critter fountain are my big daily chores.

Hugs and healthy wishes to all the sickies and sickie relatives!!

Happy Saturday!!

Good Mornin’ Y’all! Been u[p for a while so no YAWN. We caffeinated and then went and had a <snerk> Quickie! <snerk> brekkie. Ham 'n cheese omelets, grits, and bizkits were enjoyed by the both of us. After we got back to da cave, I made snausage balls. Tonight is Epiphany partay night at the home of one of our co-parishoners and that will be our contribution. Spoiled brat is happy because there are some on a plate in the kitchen for cave consumption.

{{{CupCakes and Mom}}} hope all goes well in rehab and here’s hopin’ she can go back home.

Oh, weather report… 'tis 49 Amurrkin out and cloudy with a predicted high of 63 and cloudy for the day. Indeed, it is all gloomy out. Good nappage weather.

Happy Sattidy Y’all!

Happy Saturday!

It’s wet outside, but a not too chilly 41 degrees.

Home from the vet, which was a good news/bad news event. The good news is that there is nothing wrong with his tail, in fact this morning you’d never notice there had been something wrong with it. We can tell it’s not totally back to normal, people who don’t know him probably wouldn’t pick up on it. The tip of it is still a bit crooked. However, we found out that he has a heart issue. I need to take him back for an echocardiogram. The vet said it is a common problem in large male cats and usually it’s not found until the cat just falls over dead. It’s not an emergency, so I will schedule it in a few weeks.
The other good news is that he, for the first time, didn’t shit all over himself and the carrier on the ride home. A clean cat is a good cat.

Getting him in the carrier was a challenge. I usually use one that is too big, this one is slightly small. It actually works better though once we get him in because he doesn’t slide around in it. He can turn around in it, but it is tight.
Anyway, my son learned this morning that despite their appearance, cats are actually a fluid, not a solid.

So, not much to do today, or a lot to do, depending on how I feel about doing things.
I want to refinish a vanity and stool, but I don’t know if I want to do it today. Or rather, I do want to but I don’t know if I will. Probably better to do when Ripple is at daycare. With any luck, I will start, my son will get interested, and take over.
It does happen.

Happy Birthday FCMM!

I had a cat with a heart issue. He ended up needing a daily pill, but was good about it.

Stoopit delivery company isn’t even attempting delivery today; one day delivery ordered on Wednesday will supposedly arrive on Monday, on which day I’m planning on being 30 miles away playing with tiny plants.

Oh, and part of the order was precision rulers (they have 1/2mm marks as well), which I specifically ordered to measure said tiny plants.

Grump.
On the plus side, I got a load of free beer from work- people up for new years left about 20 full beer bottles, and only a few of us drink it. Not the best beer, except in the way that free is the best.

Yay on your mom being improved enough to move baker!

I’m feeling much better today. There’s a load of towels in the wash, puppy crate is clean, I’m breakfasted and caffeinating. Once KP is done, I’ll take a shower and go pick up some groceries and prescriptions. Such an exciting day.

Howdy all. Made it to the weekend finally. Why is it that short weeks seems longer than regular weeks?

Hubby hit the road a little bit ago so I am without supervision for a while. At least a week but could be more. I need to make a grocery run as I need cat food and fruit. And bacon cause I got some tomatoes from the roadside green market. I shall have BLT’s without the L. One of hubs friends that owns a restaurant sent a pan of lasagna so that shall be consumed this weekend.

Glad BakerMom is getting better. Here’s also hoping she can go home eventually. Feel better all you sickies. [[[Juliet]]]

Vacuuming is done, and I shifted around some stuff to make my knit/crochet spot by the recliner more functional. Second load is in the washer, with one more to go.

We had a guy out this morning to give us a quote for prepping the site for the new workshop. He’s done a lot of work for us, so we know he does good work for a good price. He’ll have to take down several trees, but since we’re going to let him have the lumber from them, he won’t charge us to haul them away. So yay! Plus he’ll drop one of the dead trees back into the woods to rot.

Apart from cleaning the critter fountain, I have nothing to do till we leave at 2:45-ish. Not sure what I’ll wear - probably black pants and my red top with the black sparklies. It’s fancy-ish but comfy.

**Nut **- I would be mightily displeased with next-day delivery that takes almost a week…

Last load in the dryer. Critter fountain is clean. I’ve just had a bowl of soup for lunch. Chillage shall ensue after I get all the unders and socks folded for stowage.

Go me!!

Laundry started. Such is the excitement of my Saturday.
