slacker - my laundry is almost done!
Oh yeah, laundry…
And it’s all folded and ready to be put away… when **FCD **finishes his nap.
Chillage for a bit, and we leave in an hour.
My Mom had trouble with her store-bought knee for the rest of her life 'cause she refused to do her PT. said it hurt. So instead it hurt her to walk for the rest of her life. :dubious:
Speaking of mothers, Hope your mom gets to go home Cupcakes, and happy birthday to FCM mom.
Went to see the cardiologist yesterday, 'cept he wasn’t there. Again. They said he got stuck in the cath lab on an emergency. I’ve been in that cath lab, and if you’re gonna have an emergency, that’s a good place to do it. Anyway, I had a nice chat with his nursing assistant, or whatever her title is, I just know her as Brandi. Seems they just wanted to see me just because. :dubious:
Later, at home, Wifey reminded me that with our new insurance, I was supposed to get a referral. Maybe changing insurance companies wasn’t such a good idea, but I can’t go back to the old company 'cause they pissed me off so badly.
Also I found out that one of my blood glucose meds, (Januvia), is a tier 4 under my new plan and has a copay of $100/mo. I don’t know how I missed that when I was doing my due diligence research before choosing this plan, except that the information is spread all over their website and sometimes hard to find and I had spent several hours looking things up and was prolly just tired. There is a work-around however. If I don’t eat any dessert, or drink any wine, after dinner, my blood glucose is within an acceptable (to me) range the next morning. le sigh On those days I skip the pill. I ain’t rich, ya know.
I know. ‘first world problems’.
Yeah, but you use a washing machine; knowing Ruble, he launches it out of a cannon where the dirt particles fly faster than the clothes do.
She’s a fine girl, what a good wife she would be.
Send booze & dessert to me, I’ll eat & drink for you; only to help out your health.
This is a very rare wickend for me; I has virtually no plans other than watch boids (Seahawks & Iggles). Last time that happened was at least Spring. Nap was nice; now to be more productive…
Actually I was thinking more in the line of getting it soaking wet and shooting it against a rock. But your idea has merit as well plus it would call for a much larger powder charge.
I must say that Mom’s transfer to the rehab facility went smoothly. It’s part of a multi-level nursing home facility. If mom ever goes into assisted living it’s likely the place she’d select.
The pickup was on time and Mom was seated comfortably, and all the settling in stuff and questions were done in less than an hour. She was in the same place a couple of years ago when she broke her arm, and some of the same staff welcomed her to her room. I think it’s a sign of a good place that professionals are not constantly turning over. The one CNA that helped Mom settle even told us she’d just passed her RN nursing board exams.
All you folks talking about laundry are just trying to make me feel guilty!
:D:o:p
Not really!
Too all the Moms of MMPers out there, best wishes.
Nut, you always get what you need the day after you need it; I think that;s a principle law of the Universe…
One of these days, ruble, I am going to take a run through Pennsy just to see this cannon of yours.
Bumba, ain’t insurance fun?
Eight hours coaching and monitoring indoor soccer wasn’t quite as wearing as it has been in the past. Got some help from other volunteers so I didn’t feel like I was bearing the entire load.
My laundry can pile up for another week before it reaching Something Must Be Done levels.
But I am home, fed, hydrated and going back to the main room to watch some more tackleball.
Evenin’!
Just got back from dinner with friends. We went to a local chop house for a good meal. I got teh wood fired pork loin with baked sweet potatoes and a salad. Yum!
I did laundry and put it awsy, no nap required. Made spicy honey teriyaki chicken with black bean sauced broccoli.
Howdy Y’all! The party bears are home. Actually been home about twenty minutes. We stayed out past eight p.m.! Where are our morals! ‘Twas a nice Epiphany partay. Good crowd and lots of good eats. The snausage balls got all et up, so YAY! Now off to the book of faces to post some photos I took of tonight’s soiree. I shall remind everyone that was there of THE RULE That bein’, if you partay with the Priest on Saturday night, you best be prayin’ in the pew come Sunday mornin’.
My roommate was out briefly tonight, so I was able to do laundry without criticism.
Home - Mom was very surprised, and it was a nice party. BIG crowd, good food, Roxy got way too much attention, and I’m glad to be home. I’s tahred. Bed soon.
It seems us Mumpers were just awash in laundry today.
I am so ashamed of myself.
No; not really.
dungeoning and dragonening was fun but the new rules are clearly influenced by the video/pc/online games

I was afraid of that. I’m going to start DMing for my son and friends. I wonder if I can get away with using the older rules.
Good morning y’all! Up and caffeinatin’. YAWN ‘Tis 41 Amurrkin out and clear with an expected high of 70 and N.O.S. for the day. We shall deheathenate followed by first Sunday brunch. I have ush duty. Other than that no big plans for the day. I am having computer problems so may not be around much for a few days. Be back when I can. Doing this from my phone which is a PITA to do.
Good morning! The only must-do on my agenda is a trip to the grocery store. I may do a bit of tidying, and I should think about how I’ll spend my extra 2 days off. There are lots of things that need to be done around the house, plus baby care. But I may actually make a chore plan.
We shall see…
Happy Sunday!
Up, caffeinated, and sheveled. Off today.
You’re gonna agitate Flytrap with the laundry puns.
Is that code for something?:dubious:;):p:D
Survived my first night of being alone except for the pets.We have been out for the morning walk and the cat has been fed. I have laundry and tidying up to do today. I think I will work some short days this week so my dog doesn’t have to wait ten hours for a bathroom break.
Hubby made it to his friend’s house near Ocala. This morning he will head to near Atlanta to his son’s house. On Wednesday he will go to Raleigh to visit his daughter for a few days then reverse the trip.
Now off to scrounge some breakfast.
Happy Sunday All.
