The Late Night MMP

Either that or he was saving them up for when you least expect it.

He is also a master stealth farter. However, he did manage to hold 'em in last night. Maybe he’ll explode at irk and I will be spared.

One would think that a day starting with an extra hour of sleep would be great. One would be wrong. Overnight, Taz decided to puke on the TV stand, the adjacent wall, and down to the dog’s toy basket. Luckily, I was with Higgs when she found it and I was able to get her butt outside so I could clean it up before she ate it. Idiot dog! By 7AM, the cat puke was cleaned up, the dishwasher was emptied and beginning to refill, the recycling can was emptied and rebagged, and the rotisserie and George Foreman were cleaned up. Go me!

**FCD **needed to get something at the hardware store, so while he’s there, he’ll drive thru McD’s and get me a chickie biscuit, so there’s that. And after I’ve eaten and donned grubbies, I’ll be mowing the ditch. Other plans for the day include finishing the tea towels and delivering them to the store, wrapping my niece’s wedding gift (finally!!) so I can take it with me to Mom’s, gathering all the other stuff that’s going with me to Mom’s, and running a vacuum over the cat-hair-covered carpets. Woo and frickin’ hoo!!! :stuck_out_tongue:

This morning gives us the last of the glorious coolness for a while - a big batch of hot is supposed to be on the way. It’s been loverly while it’s lasted.

And other than that, just another day in Paradise! Happy Firday!

What she said.

I have made the executive decision to make foies de poulet frit for dindin. I’m thinkin’ some baked yeller squishes and zucchini for vegetative matter. Why is zucchini so hard to spell!

Dentist in an hour. Rah.

I’m impressed that you managed the French spelling (and the zucchini spelling. :stuck_out_tongue: )
swampy, does OYKW know you talk about his farts (or lack thereof) online? :stuck_out_tongue:

I’m not feeling so good today. I’m not entirely sure what I’ll do today. I haven’t yet decided if I’m going to my friend’s party tonight. I’d like to go, but if I go, I might end up being out late, and I probably have to be up fairly early Saturday to make plans with my family, and get a lot done that day, before leaving early on Sunday and then being gone for the week. (So I may be somewhat incommunicado on this board next week. Don’t know if or when I’ll have internet access.)

I’m drinking a soda water.

Things I need to do today:
–practice the piano
–continue research on the places my family wants to go on the trip
–try to think about packing

I sure killed the MMP dead that time.

<watches south for the plume of burning methane>
Got some home repair stuff planned for today that has been waiting for the Old Wench to be gone. Stuff that involves sharp tools, ladders, and if I have anything to say about it completely silly uses of force. Also looking at the weather and thinking of modifying my weekend plans. I have more desire to get out and help the kittehs <sic?> than I do specifically doing it on two wheels so the car just may have to be part of my plans. <sigh> Oh well, its not like that will be unique this year.

I’ll resuscitate it!!!

The ditch has been mowed, out of control growing things have been cut back, new grass has been/is being watered, and I’ve showered and dressed. I just printed out the iron-on strips for the tea towels and I made up the inventory sheet. Now it’s time to finish the towels and deliver them.

Then, alas, I’ll have to close up the house. It’s getting hot and humid and icky. Oh well, the cool was nice while it lasted.

The dentist has been survived. Go Me! Next up the doc at one p.m. Envy me!

Midget OYKW is the self proclaimed king of the SBD, so I’m sure he does not mind me talkin’ about it on teh intartoobz. In fact, he is quite proud of this. No wonder we get along so well!

Ok, back to irk.

Yeah, it’s ruble, not sauron, but to the other mumpers I suggest firing up the ol’ emergency generator!

Towels are done and I’m waiting for my sweetie to finish whatever he’s doing so we can go get lunch after dropping off my merchandise at the store. I’m starving - that chicken biscuit didn’t stay with me very long.

House is still open, but when we get back, I’ll probably have to shut it all up. Too much heat and humid in the neighborhood. dammit.

The show was amazing and it was a perfect night for a drive. The place is one hour away. I laughed so hard I almost choked. Oddly, though, the entire audience was at least 20 years my senior (I’m 39). We came out after the show and saw them getting into a bus - they’d been bussed over from the nearest senior center! Thought that was mildly amusing.

Ya know one can get a lot done irkin’ from home. Just now, I participated in a conference call, sliced and seasoned veggies for tonight’s dindin, had some chikin sallit with crackers for N.O.L. and cleaned up the kitchen. I am a multi-taskin’ machine!

’mika glad you enjoyed the play. For all my silliness, I do muchly enjoy Shakespeare.

That’s just it though! Shakespeare was very silly. For all that people think he is highbrow (not saying you do) he wrote stuff for peasants! Low class slapstick humor filled Comedy of Errors - as well as higher wit.

Shakespeare is so timeless. I see everyone from toddlers on up at our local Shakespeare in the Park.

swampy, when I have a hard word to spell, I do it from the phone or tablet so’s to make use of autofill. The only problem is that sometimes you come up with the wrong word, making for some hilariously uncomprehensible sentences.

It looks like I’ll be ducking out shortly. SIL and I will be going out for Indian food and to a live performance of Into the Woods at the historic theater in my little town.

The last time I saw a Shakespeare play was when local actors (including some of my friends) performed Macbeth. It was very good.

I’m not feeling well today, but I have to drag my behind into town anyway.

Today we finally at at a place that we’ve passed many times, and I’ve said “We need to try that some time!” It was OGA’s Asian Cuisine - a tiny little place - like 10 tables - with a buffet, of all things, and a sushi bar! The food wasn’t bad, and we want to go back some time and order from the menu. It’s right next door to Larry Eatery, which, for some reason, I always thought housed a comic book store - on the front, it just says Larry’s and there are super hero posters in the windows, so you can understand my error. Anyway, Larry’s is an ice cream place, too, so we’ll have to check that out.

The house is closed and the air is on, alas. I’m about to drag out the vacuum cleaner in a futile attempt to corral cat hair. Then I need to slice up a cantaloupe and start getting stuff together for my trek up north tomorrow. Except all I want to do is snooze…

Happy Firday!

It’s a cloudy 79 degrees outside, my windows are still open.

I woke up too early (damn badder) and called my friend who irks nights instead of going back to sleep. Then I took a nap after my am irk shift.
I had to call the cable company to get the router irking again. The guy there changed a few settings this time to make it easier to get connected.

I have a piece of chicken cordon bleu in the oven for lunch.

After lunch I need to get some stuff done around here.
I say that everyday but it’s slow going for me still.
