The light at the end of the tunnel & other advice MMP

{{{ruble}}} some days it just feels like it will never stop. :frowning:

This doesn’t explain me…

I got the kids’ rooms more or less sorted out. The movers had put enough things in the wrong places that 'Beamer was having trouble with where to sleep. 2 of our 3 cats are tucked into the downstairs guest bathroom, wailing about their lot in life. The third one may take some catching, but I hope to get her moved over to this house sometime this weekend.

Tomorrow I have Halloween costumes to sort out.

Worked, came home. Watching Wolfpack football. It ain’t looking good.:smack: Making pork chops with Pig salt and herbed **N.O.T.**s for dinner. And cheesy spinach.

Got an email response to the reservations for the tea this morning saying that we didn’t reserve before they were full up. :frowning: We decided to ramble anyway and take the dogs. When we stopped for lunch, we left them in the car tieh the sunroof cracked (it was in teh mid fifties out, so they weren’t going to get overheated). When we came out, one of them had had an accident on the front passenger seat. Before I could get the door open to clean it up, Nelson got excited and jumped into the front seat, stepping in it, then proceeded to track it on both seats in front, the console, the door and a bit of the back seat.   We did a quick cleanup, then stopped at a Dollar General for wipe ups, OxyClean spray and paper towels. I think (hope) we got it all.

Too tired to practice. Too tired to function.

Happy Sunday!

I woke up around 3, can’t get back to sleep, so I am finishing up the laundry from yesterday.

Supposed to be cloudy and rainy all day.
Fits right in with my mood.

Up, caffeianted ,and sheveled. Off rt work. Hockey after work.

Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffeinatin’. YAWN 'Tis 47 Amurrkin out and clear with a predicted high of 78 and mostly N.O.S. for the day. The plan of the day is to deheathenate, I am the non cannibal kind of Lector, followed by a stop at BK for N.O.L. as we have a coupon as well as a receipt for a free Whopper[sup]TM[/sup] or chikin sammich because I did their BKExperience online survey last time we et there. Other than that, sloth will ensue. We shall sup upon taco soup (OLÈ!).

Now I need more caffeine and to feed rumbly tummy. Then purtification for deheathenization must commence.

Happy Sunday Y’all!

Morning all. For once I didn’t sleep all the way to 8am; I was responsible and got up at 7am. Soccer will fill up the afternoon (two games) and need to decide where to dine out at this evening.

Did get all the discs/cd’s packed for recycling, next duty is to box and store clothes I hardly ever wear but don’t want to throw out.

{{{Emily}}}. That sounds a lot like depression; can you talk to a professional?

Red, eewwwww…I’m used to the ‘wee of joy’ by some dogs, but the ‘poop of popularity’ is something new…

Off to do Sudokus and eat BLT’s.

I’m up. That’s all I’ll claim so far. Happy Sunday.

Slept til 7:30. Plans for the day include picking up a prescription and going to the barn. It’s cloudy and icky with a chance of rain.

The pellet stove is clean - what a messy job that was! I need to iron a couple of shirts for **FCD **- he’ll be leaving in a bit for Newtown PA. He’s got a 3-day training class starting tomorrow. As soon as he leaves, I’ll do a little carpet cleaning.

So much for Sunday being a day of rest…

Woke up with the goal of trying to get back to normal and coming to the realization of nothing much being normal these days. Thanks for the hugs. No close friends are involved but the community of “church-y” folks is so close-knit around here that I recognize a face and name in passing. And friends have lost friends.

I got some projects out in the garage so even with the cold and damp I plan on putting on some music and puttering. And maybe watching the Vikings.

Howdy Y’all! Today we have deheathenated, had N.O.L., and achieved nappage. I know. I shouldn’t attempt such a fast paced life, but, YOLO! EYP was away today. He’s attendin’ his college’s homecomin’ with his four year old daughter. Anywho, the Priest this mornin’ was Fr. Jim, who retired as Priest of my church some almost twelve years ago, so nice to see him. In addition, the choir sang an anthem called, Give Me Jesus. A friend of mine, who has been gone twenty years now, used to sing this. OK, Myrtle didn’t just sing the song, she owned the song. I got a little teary eyed whilst they were singin’, thinkin’ about Myrtle.

It is good to reach after middle age, but bad to recall those who did not.

blurfage. My weekend is drawing to a close. I need to go shower and prepare for morning and then try to get a good night of sleep. I slept great last night so two in a row may be wishful thinking.

Y’all be good.

I have a clean stove, clean carpets, and clean dog bedding, since Cozmo peed on Higgs’ bedding. Stoopit dog. Daughter, SIL, and Roxy are home. **FCD **is at his hotel outside Philly.

I watched some Netflix, ate the last of the N.O.T. soup, and crocheted. I expect an early bedtime today. I’s tahred…

metal mouse, I’m 99% sure that the poo was from SIL’s chihuahua (different size and texture) but when he saw us coming to the car, Nelson got excited and jumped into the front seat (and poo), then proceded to track it all over the car. Fortunately, the OxyClean took care of the tracks and the wipe ups got the hard surfaces. I haven’t seen a poopy party like that since I worked in the nursing home. :stuck_out_tongue:

I brunched with friends this morning. It was a decent place, but the coffee looked like tea coming out of the pot. It wouldn’t go on my rotation even if I lived in the neighborhood, as a breakfast sandwich, coffee and tip was $18 and change. Thats about 2-3 times what I spend on breakfast out as a rule.

dammit.

TMI! TMI! TMI!

We supped and I hauled the biiiiiiiiiiiiiiig trash can all the way down to the road for pickup tomorrow. Thus Sunday comes to a close.

flytrap that was actually good info. After all, the bigger the dog poo the most likely one is to step in said dog poo.
