Also doesn’t hurt when you beat a simulpost on doubling quarters with someone one quarter away.
Would I be correct in assuming that Mafia is more like one of those metal wood and rope puzzles? Get the ring off the puzzle type of thing, that most people place on the mantle and pick it up for 5 minutes a day, and if they make some progress, it is a success for the day?

For the most part, I agree with Big. It’s not that I don’t “get it” it’s just that most times.

I thought you’d appreciate my comments, dude. Thing is, I used to be just like you when I was younger. I was diagnosed with ADD (the H wasn’t built-in at the time). They were either wrong, or it mostly went away as I got older.
So, anyways, I always feel the need to speak out if I see someone disparaging someone with any psychological problem. Not to tell them they are wrong, but to help them understand where the other person is coming from. (I’ve done a lot of study on the subject.)
It’s my little way of fighting ignorance.
Then shut the fuck up about my play style from previous games. Either we sort this out face-to-face, as much as a term like that makes sense over the 'net, or you drop it entirely. I stated that I was leaving part of my claim out. Take that as a compliment that I emulated your play, if you can. Do not take it as some insult that I am still harping on your play. Sure enough, if I did not reference it, we would still have this conversation now. … Looks like we still are.
MULTPILE people commented that it was a great play on my part. I did what I had to do, when I did it, and I thought I bent over backwards to accomodate you as well.

I have no complaints with your strategy. I never even vaguely insinuated that I did. Sometimes when claiming it is better to leave things out. I get that. Well done.
Had you not referenced my play, we would not be having this conversation. I would have assumed that you had moved on. Not every role claim, partial role claim or related move is going to remind me of the Glyph.
I’m happy to let the whole thing drop. The past is the past. But the next time you even imply my strategy in the Glyph was retarded for equally retarded reasons, well, I will energetically correct you.

This was only my second game. By default, I am going to compare it to Crimson.
And yes, we can let it drop completely, It would not be worth it, to either of us, to continue talking on mistakes in Mafia on a one on one basis. I am not opposed to the idea, just, I think we have had enough of each other. [A bit frank, but it is how I see it.]
Couple thoughts about the current situation (post-cardinal lynch):
1 - Would a lie-detector-proof Godfather, a roleblocker, and a vanilla scum be considered a balanced 3-person team? It’s the only alternate scenario I can see to Jimmy and Diver both being scum.
2 - If it IS a Jimmy-Diver scum scenario, I wonder why Jimmy didn’t claim just to have no idea what Diver was after the tie-breaker.
I’d also say the best bet for Jimmy if he IS scum is to leave Chronos alive and off one of the other two, then hope to convince the remaining survivor that Chronos must be an uber-Godfather.
(The other possibility is that the smoke monster lied to Jimmy, or forced Jimmy to lie, but that seems too gastardly to be true).

This has been a fun game to watch so far, but I do wish that endgame hadn’t come down to Chronos’ program like that. cardinal_fang didn’t seem like the scummiest by a long shot and I think if people had been more willing to go with their mafia skills over the probabilities, they might have caught that last scum going into toNight.
Ah well, eagerly looking forward to seeing who is still alive at daybreak.
I believe I was trying to do that. I am unpredictable, and not always by choice. However, people see me as a loose cannon. I see them as putting all their eggs in one basket. The track record of the Chronos program is clear. I think we know who has egg on their face now.
And not surprisingly, people still hate me for it. :eek:
