Home! 'Twas an interesting day, and I actually got to do some work. I knew I had a pile of drawings waiting for me, but before the break, I hadn’t looked at them that closely - all but 1 lack some or all dimensions, so making drawings is pretty much impossible. I contacted the guy who gave me the tasks, and he rounded up actual piece parts. Unfortunately, it wasn’t till late in the day, but they’re waiting for me and I should be able to get them all done tomorrow.
I also got a large electronics drawing to revise, but the revisions were trivial and simple, so it’s done and awaiting approval.
Higgs started out on my list - waking me at 4AM!! :mad: But I gave her a chance to redeem herself and she came thru - I left her uncrated all day and didn’t find any unauthorized pee or poo messes, so she’s now on parole. I’ll let her have the run of the house while I’m at work. Heck, tonight I’ll let her stay loose also. Maybe she’ll sleep longer if she’s sleeping with me. I don’t particularly want her to join Taz on the bed, but I really could have used that hour of sleep.
Supper will be mac-n-cheese - that’s as far ahead as I’ve planned. And in the mail, I got notification of the increase in my retirement pay - a whopping $3.10 per month!! That’s my cost of living raise. :rolleyes:
As to the OP, I agree that far too many people go out of their way to be offended. Not everything is said with veiled malicious intent, and even thoughtless comments are often made innocently or carelessly rather than evilly. People should resolve to lighten up in 2014!!
