I think it’s time to assume the afghaning position. MWAH!!
Robyn (I want to nickname you Rockin’ because it goes so well with Robyn) any day that includes ice cream is a good day.
I think I shall Benadryl[sup]TM[/sup] up, go lie upon the bed and watch teevee until it kicks in which won’t be long. I’s all sniffly and sinusy. ICK!
Nitey Nite Y’all!
Worked, came home napped. AC at work was wonky today.
Liver? No, you’re the wurst.
swampy, I will re-up on Thursday. That way the ladies will know my member is available for charter.
Enjoy the coaster, Ruble!
Capt’n, lotta ex-Canes in the German and Swiss hockey leagues.
We moved Mrs. Plant’s (v.3.0) flying squirrel, Rocky, from a two gallon aquarium in the kitchen to a 55 gallon in the bedroom. Perseus the cat discovered him, and spoke to me. The Southern flying squirrel is a third the size of the gray squirrel with which we are all familiar. Mrs. Plant, (v.3.0) translated for me: “There is a mouse in there. I can fix that for you.”
At Mrs. Plant’s (v.3.0) direction, I cut some fallen limbs to fit into the 55 so that he may have a recreation area. He also has a wheel to run about in, made of smooth plastic, without wire to injure himself.
Nonetheless, he jumps up to the wire covering, and runs about upside down in 4’ x 1’ ovals at about 3:00 Ante Meridian.
The siphon for the 55 marine tank I made works well, so I made another for the 100, hoping to replace the siphon boxes, marvels in themselves, but they take up a lot of room, and require cleaning of algae with vinegar and soda every couple of months.
I captured the very large hermit crab that was messing with my conch in the 100, and he is going back to Northside Aquatics tomorrow.
I will get you for those.
Sometime, somehow, when You Least Expect It.
:dubious:
What are you, the Spanish Inquisition?
Annoyed you didn’t think of them first?
ETA: I hate insomnia.
My Plan is working.
No one expects the Spanish Inquisition…or Moi.
…until it is Too Late.
:dubious:
Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffienatin’. YAWN 'Tis 58 Amurrkin out with a predicted high of 89 for the day. Da bear likes this!
Not a very chatty bunch overnight I see. flytrap it would appear is now the Spanish Inquisition.
Ok, that’s all I got. I need more caffiene and rumbly tummy wants sustenance. Then, alas and alack, irk purtification must commence. Le Sigh.
And now, especially for Sean, Happy Hump Day Y’all!
My poor sweetie was up most of the night with his tooth - I see yet another call to the dentist today. He’s had a root canal before and it wasn’t anything like this. And because he was up, I was up on and off since 2-ish, so I’s tahred. But I’m awake, and it’s unlikely I’ll fall back to sleep any time soon. ugh.
Today’s plan is to do what I’d planned to do yesterday. Maybe it’ll work this time. But I’s tahred.
Happy Wednesday, such as it is.
Shouldn’t that be “Go Mé?” Or maybe it’s “Go Mè?”
Ice cream is awesome and I highly recommend it. Just not when I’m 40 or so pounds over my goal weight. Fortunately, the VA dietitian called to set up an appointment so maybe she can help me figure out a way to make my bad habits work for me, rather than against me.
I’m sorry to hear about all y’all’s insomnia and FCD’s tooth problems. Sinuses and teeth suck when they hurt, and not sleeping makes it all seem worse. Swampy, put in a four-hanky movie and have a good cry. It’ll thin out the goo and help you drain, and it’s good for relieving unwanted stress. Moooommm, I hope everything goes well for FCD. It sounds like the dentist just didn’t get the entire nerve out. And the rest of y’all… get a good nap in. Naps always help.
Up, caffeinated, off to work.
Spaz, Gø Më! I lürve me some ümlaüts!
Hope FCD feels better, FCM.
Flytrap, but if you went to the grocery store and interrogated canned meats by surprise, you’d be the Spammish Inquisition.
Robyn, I had my nap yesterday.
Blürf.
I think I’m going to get dressed and do some early-morning grocery shopping. We’re running out of a lot of stuff, and that just won’t do!!!
To the max!
Blurf and blargle. That’s how my day is going. Fortunately it is pub day today so there will be light at the end of the tunnel, and hopefully that’s not just the oncoming train.
Nineteen days until Mexico!
Good morning.
We’re supposed to make it up to 84 degrees today. Tomorrow, too. That’ll be nice.
Nothing is on the agenda for today, other than running into town to get a bag of ice. I really need to write down the recipe, so I don’t have to keep buying it.
I might as well gas up the car while I’m there, as well.
My daughter said that she was going to mow the yard today. If it were up to me, it would be all rocks. Anyway, she’ll have a nice day to do it.
I have decided that dinner this evening will be tomato soup, and toasted cheese sandwiches. I’m all about being lazy today.
I may go out, and give the remaining cucumber plants some TLC. They’re not doing well at all. I don’t know what I’m doing wrong! They’re all dying. There are no bugs that are eating them, and they’re getting enough water. It hasn’t gotten below 45 degrees for a couple of weeks, the soil temperature is right around 60 degrees, they’re planted in hills, and they’re getting full sun. Yet, they’re just keeling over, then they dry up, and die. It all happens within a couple of days.
I’ve never grown cucumbers before, so I don’t know what the hell I’m doing wrong. It’s annoying. Oh well. I’ll get more, and try again.
Have a good day, everyone.
I have a head cold and it’s truly the head cold from Hell.
