Oh! It was so much fun last year! BUT by late June, I should (hopefully, crosses fingers, knocks on wood) be in California to live with my honey until he can get transferred here (which should be at least 6 months)! However I will be back to visit the family as often as I can, so perhaps a visit will coincide with the festivities, I hope.

Woo Hoo! I’ll be there! I’ve heard so much about the last one and how much fun it was that I have been anxiously awaiting the date for this years fest. July 23rd is fine with me, and I would like to do the Battlefield tour the next day. I have yet to get over to Little Round Top and this is the perfect opportunity! What can I bring? Are kids welcome?
Kids are quite welcome. Much mud was enjoyed by the little ones for sure, and the other kids seemed to have a good time, also. Once a date is firmly ascertained, I’ll start keeping a log of body count and what everyone is bringing, as well as offering links to nearby motels for those who want to make a weekend of it.
I hate to beat a dead horse, but what’s the vote on ex-Dopes? 
I will probably have all 3 geek children there this year. Youngest is 6, oldest is 13.
Also, I can set up a web page with info (maps, directions, hotels, etc) if anyone is interested.

It’s probably too late to voice my opinion, but I cannot make July 23. Totally impossible. However, any weekend after that for the rest of the summer is good and I really want to make it. August 13 would be smashing. I’ll subscribe to this thread to see how it turns out, in any case.
