My nephew could have easily found himself in the middle of a situation such as above. It is not batshittery to take whatever steps are necessary to protect a teenager you are responsible for.

I’m pretty sure you’re thinking of justhink. I don’t have the patience to dig through his old threads, but IIRC it eventually came out that he was using some sort of text generator to write his posts for him and he was banned for posting in bad faith.
He sticks in my mind because I played a role in getting his sock puppet banned a while later. I don’t remember the sock’s username, but soon after appearing this “new” poster said something like “People have compared me to justhink…” I did a little searching and quickly established that no one had ever said any such thing, reported him as a possible sock, and after the Mods did a little behind the scenes checking the sock was banned.
Holy shit, I forgot about that guy. I hope he got help, that was some hardcore crazy. The one I was thinking of was SnakesSpirit or whatever. He was always talking about the occult and then I think he was banned after he started this thread talking about he had been emasculated in Vietnam, or something like that.
Anyone remember GuyInBlueJeans? I couldn’t find his threads, but he claimed he had visions of Jesus as a kid, and that Satan told him to kill people, and he was molested by demons. (He was another one who was banned, IIRC)

That was Polycarp, a normally very helpful, insightful, and sane poster, acting very weird for a while.

AFAIK, he was banned for his habit of starting a GD thread in GQ. When the thread was closed or moved, he’d reword the OP and post it as a new thread in IMHO, MPSIMS, and ATMB. He came back as a OphidanGhost. I, and presumably others, saw through this brilliant disguise.

He was GrahamWellington It wasn’t obvious for a long while, then he began posting his delusions. These were identical to those of GW- the same book about remembering satanic ritual abuse, the same reference to a line in The Doors etc.

Just FYI, the page breaks are dependent on your settings. It’s not safe to assume that everyone sees the same pagination in a thread.
Everyone normal views 50 posts per page. Anyone who has their pagination set differently is by definition an odd poster and shouldn’t be reading this thread.
