For the first time evah, the Thanksgiving (pt II) smokerage was conducted in shorts as it was in the mid-60°s & sunny today. 
Though I may not be hongry - Lunch was just off-the-smoker smoked salmon, snack was still warm smoked provolone & a couple still-needing-to-dry smoked cinnamon almonds. - I can’t wait for dinner (which will be momentarily).
Getting some roleplaying in right now; will have some Thanksgiving leftovers for dinner while we watch Jeopardy.

I finally remembered to change the furnace filter - it was brown. It started out white. Can’t recall when I changed it last, but it was too long ago for sure. Even tho we haven’t had to turn the furnace on, the fan comes on periodically to recirculate air thru the house - that’s what accumulated the crud.
Tomorrow I’m going to make some more crayons for the store - I see them as stocking stuffers. We shall see how that goes.

Argh. A website posted on Facebook, asking what advice you’d give to someone who’s about to ride public transit, and never has, and a couple of people suggested “Carry a gun.” Ugh. I hope they weren’t being serious, but you never know… Is carrying guns on public transit something that happens often in America, I wonder… if I was on public transit and I knew someone had a gun, I don’t think I’d feel safe.
I don’t want to get into a gun fight (I meant an argument about guns, but I don’t want to get into an actual gunfight either) so I didn’t leave any comments about it on Facebook.
Sometimes I’m glad I live in Canada.
(And yeah, I know a lot of people here on the board are Americans and/or have strong opinions about guns, and I don’t want to get into an argument here either. Just venting.)
In other news…
When I go into the room where my kittycat used to hang out, I keep almost trying to go and find him so I can pet him. 
He’s been gone a little over 24 hours now.

Several years ago, a guy on the NY subway was threatened in a robbery with a knife. It turned out to have been a screwdriver. The guy shot the attacker with a pistol, and went to prison. One opinion is that at least he lived through the experience, even though he is in jail.
There are apparently a lot of folks in Canada who target shoot pistols as a hobby. Of course you do not have the “gun violence” problem we have. If all Americans were like me, there would be no problem.

My neighbor and I went to a local meatand three for supper. Although I had never ordered a meal salad there, I was pleased that they do a nice grilled chicken Caesar.
