Better be pizza AND beer if you want my help, dude.

althought the Flyers beat the Canes tonight.

Morning, mumpers! Tis chilly out today, but apparently at least 5 UK degrees warmer than yesterday. On the plus side, we haven’t had any more snow and it’s not even cold enough for frost today. Thus my toes will most likely remain toasty warm all day.
Flipper, what are Yorks? I’d google but that might be a bit pointless since I have no idea what I should get as the end result!
Last night’s dinner was Moroccan lamb tagine with enough left for lunch today so that will be something to look forward to. Chicken curry in on the menu tonight but not until I’ve been and done penance in the gym for the weekend’s wine consumption. I can happily confirm that following Saturday night’s efforts, there is no longer a wine lake in the Glorious Free State of T’Reans.
Busy week for my social calendar - gym tonight, pub tomorrow, cinema on Thursday and live band on Friday. I might have to stay at home on Saturday to recover…and gather my strength for visiting the doting parent on Sunday.
Spidey, I agree with Doggio. Pizza is no good unless there’s beer as well. Everyone knows that.
2gig, are you a magnet for bad drivers? Please do not ever feel the need to offer me a ride anywhere…
Another below-freezing morning, altho there’s no wind, so that’s a plus. You know it’s gonna be one of *those *days when, right before waking, you’re dreaming about how exhausted you are!!! We shall see how it goes.
Last night, I finished the afghan for my sister’s granddaughter (I guess she’s my great niece.) It’s very colorful and my sister thinks it will win the 9-y/o girl seal of approval. Next will be the hockey rink afghan for my newest, oldest nephew.
Other than that, I’ve got 2 big-ass drawings on my desk, so I’ll be busy today. I should get to it.
Happy Tuesday!!
Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffeinatin’. YAWN ‘Tis 34 Amurrkin out with a light frost on the ground. Evidently the temp got to freezin’ at some point over night. The high will be 63 and sunny. The predicted high for TDay is 74.
I am bein’ a little bit of a bear of leisure this mornin’. I have to travel up to the north forty first thing and it’s easier to leave from da cave so I can slack a bit. Plus, 'tis my Firday! YAY!!!
ruble quite an impressive collection there!
OK, I need to get movin’ I reckon. First, however, more caffeine must be had and the feedin’ of rumbly tummy must also occur. Purtification for irk also needs to commence.
Happy Tuesday Y’all!
Blurf.
I am actually already dressed in human clothes (as opposed to pjs), and waiting on my friend so we can hit the $top & $hop while the shelves are still full.
Rosie the [del]Riveter[/del] Robber???
Happy Toosday!
It’s a cloudy 35 degrees outside, so at least it’s above freezing. Supposed to warm up a bit over the next few days.
The furnace made it through the night, and was fairly quiet.
One more day.
We go to the museum today for Sah-son’s art class. I wish we could go on a warmer day but the museum is closed over the holiday. It’s a small museum so it shouldn’t take long to find something he can write about. He wants to get in and out, I’m not in a hurry but it’s up to him.
Outside of that it’s SSDD.
BLURF. 69 degrees F here this morning.
Up, caffeinated, working closing shift tonight.
It’s very snowy here in Montreal this morning, though I heard it’ll melt in the next few days.
Groceries - done
hair cut - done
laundry - being done
It’s nice to have someone around to help with the tough stuff
Naaah - at best some creepy old guy with a water bottle.
But do we ever want him to feel truly free?
The first one shows most of our back-up sweats and long-sleeved t-shirts. The second shows the pipe in the basement I mentioned in post #50. I didn’t bother showing the closet or the pile waiting to be washed.
And this doesn’t count the three large garbage cans of t-shirts put away for the season; just sweats and winter wear.
We are both basically the same size ------------ and odd.
No. For that she would wait for the shelves to be empty and the cash register full.
Smashed a pinky-finger slightly at work last night. Nothing broke but its all swollen and Smurf-blue. Trying to figure out how to wear the split with my gloves and secure it. Planning on wearing my Santa suit Thursday. I figure since the Amazon Elves have to work getting the packages out, the least Santa can do is help. Especially since I’m scheduled and have to work anyway. (May as well just have some fun with it.)
Blurf.
Why, York Peppermint Patties, of course! ekemom and I are addicted to those darn things.
Scattabuchi tonight-- that’s macaroni noodles with spaghetti sauce.
OK, someone is screwing with the space-time continuum. I have been busy like crazy, but my morning has draaaaaaaaaaaaged. I checked my watch, sure it was lunch time, and it was 9:30! WTH???
I’ve also learned what it means to be a second-class citizen. The govvies get 59 minutes tomorrow, but contractors don’t. Bummer. I was pretty sure that was the case, but I just checked with the boss to be sure.
I sure hope the afternoon goes faster than this morning did. I’m ready for the day to be done already!!
Ah…something like a glorified After Eight mint then. See, we don’t have such things around here so no idea what they were. Now it turns out Amazon will sell them to me, but they’re a Hershey’s product and thus to be avoided
Why is it not time to go home yet? Haven’t I been here long enough already? One of our academics has been sending me queries all day that I’ve been sorting out for him. He emailed to thank me, and said I was perilously close to being his go-to person in the office. I told him to join the queue. I didn’t bother to mention that since neither of the other year admins are here at the moment, it’s pretty much me or nobody!
**boofae **- see my comment about the screwed-up space-time continuum. That’s why our days are so doggone long!!!
Interestingly, lunch seemed to zip right by…
It has been a long morning. I am out of here at 1300. Having lunch right now. When these women put on a pot luck it is always good and plenty of it. I see a nap in my future.
Home from the museum http://wcmfa.org/
It’s small, but nice.
When we got back we saw that a branch had fallen on our wires, maybe that is why the power blipped out earlier today. The electric company is coming to check on it. We could reach it but I think it is better not to touch it.
I need a nap.
