The Pass Over MMP

Did you mean cow-orkers?
Speaking of which, we should have the MMP FAQ (pronounced eff aay queue, & not faa-queue ) updated:

[li]cow-orkers[/li][li]irk[/li][li]N.O.S.[/li][li] ???[/li][/ul]
I’m sure **Pearl **or Soapy could do it since it’s a locked sticky.
Boofital flight this mornin’!

What got me up this morning was my bladder at 4 am and then the Schnauzer at 6 am.
I finally got up for good at around 9. Of course I didn’t get into bed until almost midnight, so I got just under 8 hours sleep! Yay! That nice bottle of Muller-Thurgau we drank last night didn’t hurt, either.

I was raised a Baptist, and then a Methodist, but when I was old enough I quit all that. Now I’m agnostic. So is Wifey. If the Grandkids are involved in something at their church, we’ll go and watch and everything, but that’s it. They’re Lutherans, so they’re cool with that.

BTW, we have some good friends that are Baha’i, but I don’t really know what it’s all about, except they and all their co-adherents seem to be very nice people. And absolutely not pushy. I’m pretty sure Sah-son could just stroll right in to temple, but it never hurts to be polite and call ahead.
BTW#2, do you have an electric mower? 'Cause I can’t imagine a ‘reset’ button on a gas type mower. I’m thinking I’d like an electric when our old gas mower finally dies.

I have an appointment with the eye surgeon today to talk about my cataract surgery.
We were talking to a friend at lunch last week who just had it done and loves her new eyes, but I’m still a little apprehensive. The idea of someone cutting on my eyes is discomboobulating. (Is so a word!)

BTW#3: I’m not in Israel, I’m in Orygun. Just as many guns, but different reasons.

My eye doc says I’ve probably got 10 years till I need to worry about cataracts, but he sees evidence that they’re starting. I’ll live in denial till I have to deal with it.

Speaking of eyes, my office mate was at a ball game yesterday sans SPF anything, except for sunglasses. The boss just festooned the office with pics of raccoons.

Almost quitting time - yay! It’s been a frustratingly busy day.

Irk days I get up between 5:30 and 6am. Sometimes the alarm clock wakes me up, sometimes my internal clock wakes me up, sometimes the kitteh wakes me up. Weekends I sleep til 7:30.

Re: Easter. I’m not Catholic, but I always take Good Friday off and kind of do a retreat/introspection. This Easter I’m going to a relative’s house to eat ham and scalloped taties and rice pudding. YUM. I may buy myself Easter candy on the pretense of splitting it with my sister.

Does John Mace have a nickname yet?

Or just cigarettes and beer.

Lest we forget, next Moanday is also Cheap Chawklit Day!

We are goin’ to the not too shabby Chinese [del]hog trough[/del] buffet for dindin just cause. No red meat for me this week but they have shrimpies 'n noodles, veggie noodles, aig drop soup, and veggie aigrolls so it’s all good.

Can you get Passover Alky-haul (other than wine) where you is?

Club or Flail

I get frustrated when days don’t go as planned.

Yard work has been put off until tomorrow.

Taxes had me cussing within the first few pages.
It really shouldn’t make me crazy but it does.

Yes, Bumba it is an electric mower. I have a small yard and it’s easier to plug in an extension cord than to get gas.

HOME!!! Supper is chickie strips and whatever sides ( pull out of the freezer. I’s hongree!!!

Eye doc told me the same thing a few months ago. I am in the denial boat with you.

Back from chowin’ down at the not too shabby Chinese [del]hog trough[/del] buffet. 'Twas true to the place not too shabby. Plus, I have cake for later! OYKW brought me a piece of chawklit bday cake from his irk. YAY!

Scourge.

I’ll warrant that you fellows really say something like, “I say old chap, I rather fancy Chinese cuisine this evening. How about you, old top?”

Supper was so-so - chickie strips, instant N.O.T. (DON’T JUDGE!!!) and cauliflower with a little broccoli and carrots (a mix of two small remaining bits from the freezer.) I’m about to assume the knit position - I’m almost done with a red scarf, and next I plan to crochet a white shawl, since I have tons of white yarn.

Tonight will be major chillage. Hope I can sleep thru the night - it’s been ages since I’ve gotten more than 5 hours in a row, often less. :frowning:

We signed all of the loan documents today for the refinance. 3 days for us to change our minds (state law) and then everything funds on Friday. Yay!

Cheap Chawklit day, eh? I shall investigate. I like chawklit.

More like, “Younto git some Chinese?” “Aight!”

ruble, there are no animal sacrifices at our meet ups. Shoot, a whole mess of our members are vegetarian or vegan.

What gets me up early is the thought of homelessness. :stuck_out_tongue: As for holiday celebrations, growing up RC, we went to mass / services more than most weeks, Easter vigil on Saturday evening, grandparents’ for a big meal, an aig hunt and chawklit. Then Monday, we would go to the Polish American club for the annual Dyngus Day meal / politician meet and greet. These days, I’m part of a spring picnic with activities for the kids and a potluck sponsored by several of the groups of which I’m a member.

I bugged out of irk after half a day today. Spring allergies were kicking my butt. I took the heavy duty drugs, took a nice steamy shower to loosen things up, then took a three hour nap. I’m feeling a little better, but can’t wait for the trees to quit being glorious.

We shall now retire unto the boudoir to watch teevee until sleepy time. We’s tahrd!

Nitey Nite Y’all!

Oops. Got you mixed up with Bowser. Blame it on old age.

Lawn has been mowed, not very much to pick up (1 bag full of clippings; during the height of summer it’ll be 4-5 bags). Still haven’t eaten dinner, can’t decide if I’ll have a salad bowl or let the King feed me.

Just looked: 8:30PM local already! need to get sustenance now. See y’all tomorrow.

The actual spelling may be “co-irkers” but spelling may vary ----- especially in the state of Georgia.

No. That would be the guy who helped me build Bessie.

Episcopalians? Maybe!
